Clean and convenient to all.

Location was perfect, just out of the hustle and bustle of the main section of town, but walkable to everything you may need! The views from the living room made it hard to get going off on our adventures! Beds were comfy, place was sparkling clean!

Never could get in contact with hosts using the app (booking. com), like we were going to arrive early and I wanted to see if early check in was available... I'm not sure if it was an app issue or what. Thankfully no actual issues, and once inside the unit there was a display of all the ways to contact them, which by then we didn't need to use.

The decking area was a great bonus as we were very lucky with the weather. Great location for Portree, easy parking and check in.

The apartment would be a bit small for 4 3 or 4 adults as there isn't a lot of room for luggage in the twin room and the kitchen table is quite small (luckily we used the deck!).

Very clean, they have a lot of things that other properties doesn’t include and are so useful. Location is great. We were very happy with this place.

The location was superb, near to town centre, co-op was just few minutes walk away. The flat is spacious and enough for 4 person. The heater is working well and keep us warm during the winter.

Everything was superb except the bed was too soft and felt unsupported for your back. It would be 10/10 if they make improvement for the bed.

Fabulous location at just a couple of minutes walk down to the town square with a car park right at the door. The incredibly thoughtful hosts have provided absolutely everything you could possibly want (including dishwashing and clothes washing liquid, a fully equipped kitchen, clothes hangers and a clothes drying rack, just to name a few that we were particularly appreciative of). The apartment is roomy and comfortable and everything throughout is carefully labeled with instructions. A couple of days here meant we could completely unpack, catch up on our washing, and chill in a perfect place... couldn't have been better!

Cozy, had all the things we needed to make ourselves at home, and was easy to get to to. Just short walk to town and an easy on and out for day trips around the Isle of Skye. Great to always have a spot to park on site as well.

well equipped, clean, great location next to restaurants & pubs. Added bonus of having a separate decking area. Very accommodating owners, very helpful on arrival and set-up with tea/coffee/milk and biscuits which was lovely.

The location was very central to the pretty town of Portree but also very quiet so we had the best of both worlds. The facilities were very good and we could've happily stayed longer.

Parking was an issue. I don’t think other residents followed the rules. One flat equals one off road parking space. very compact for four adults .

No dry shelter for bicycles; rooms rather small for cyclists‘ bags

1. Good location. There’s a convenience store down the hill and restaurants on the other side. 2. They have a complete kitchen set which includes cutleries and plates! They also have dishwasher and washer! 3. Easy to check in. 4. Basic toiletries were provided. 5. Amazing view!

We weren’t able to make the heater work. There’s an electric fireplace and warm comforter to compensate though

Can't even describe how great this place is! We decided to book it for our base on Isle of Skye. It was perfectly clean, had a great view and was so spacious! Everything was explained in detail and the flat is well equiped. Fireplace in the living room is so cute! Bed were comfy so we had a good night sleep. Its just few minutes from the city center, so we walked there easily. Parking is arranged, so didnt have any issues finding a parking space. When we come back to Scotland, we will definitely stay again at Phoenix Flats.

Prices are little high for stay compared to other places.

It’s an absolutely amazing apartment with impeccable location, it is very close to the centre of Portree and is extremely convenient! The decorations around the flat just made it very cozy and homely, my companions and I especially love the little fireplace- it was perfect for winter. The rooms are in great conditions, the sofa and mattress are also very comfy. The massive kitchen would be perfect for travellers that would like to do some cooking. My travelling companion: Absolutely phenomenal! So we decided we'd celebrate an early Christmas in Portree but when looking for accommodation we were dismayed by how fast the seafront accommodation were filling up as it was already quite late at the time. In all honesty, Phoenix Flats was literally THE last resort amongst our pile of choices because it didn't look very good on photo. Don't be fooled by the photos - Phoenix Flat was very good and it's not every day I use the word "very". By very good I mean many things: Location-wise it's less than 2 minutes away from the town square where most of the restaurants are; A further minute or so would take you to the seaside. In terms of the atmosphere it was absolutely fantastic! The comfy chairs, the warm rugs, the wooden furniture, the large windows and, oh, the fireplace. Who can ever forget the fireplace? That beautiful gleaming red log crackling and frizzling and sizzling inside the fake (albeit very realistic) fireplace as weary travelers gather around the room reminiscing their past over some red wine and music. And then there's the bedroom, with towels all so meticulously folded up and pillows ever so inviting. The bedsheet and blankets - whitest than can ever be. There's simply nothing you can not like of this accommodation as it simply is perfect in all imaginable respects. As an aside the host owner left us two bottles of Merlot and Chardonnay plus some Scottish fudge.

The shower room is sort of tiny but it’s definitely not a huge problem. My travelling companion: The only thing we can criticise is the lack of view. But then after a long day of strenuous journeying the comforts of a fireplace and a drink far exceeds the promise of a view. Also it gets dark quite early in the town so there isn't (I dare reckon) much of a view even if you live on the seafront.

The facilities were over and above what was needed on a weekend/3day break superb if for a longer period.

Location for Portree town centre was excellent, a very short walk (200m) but down a steep hill. Parking was great, right outside the property with easy access if you had rented apartments 1 or 2. The apartment itself was clean if a little small but having said that it was more than satisfactory for 4 adults for a short stay.

We felt the apartment was a bit expensive for what it was (certainly the most expensive of all the accommodation during our travels around Scotland) but this seemed to be the norm on Skye.
