Nestled in the heart of beautiful Bayeux, this exquisitely restored 17th-century home transported us back in time the moment we stepped through its doors. The charm and elegance of the property made our vacation in Normandy an absolute dream. A rare and appreciated bonus was the on-site parking tucked behind the property—convenient and secure. Our hosts, Michael and Gilles, were incredibly gracious and welcoming. Their warm hospitality and impeccable attention to detail made us feel more like cherished guests than visitors. They went above and beyond, offering fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, cafés, and must-see sights around the region. Each morning began with a breathtaking breakfast, served on a beautifully appointed table with fine china and crystal. Gilles treated us to his culinary talents with delectable French pastries, while Michael ensured our coffee cups were always full and every comfort was met. It was truly a five-star start to the day. Our room overlooked the serene garden—a view both stunning and romantic. The space was spacious, the bed luxuriously comfortable, and the en-suite bathroom accessible via a charming secret passage—just one of many enchanting details that made our stay so special. Without a doubt, our time at Hotel Particulier was the highlight of our Normandy trip. We wholeheartedly recommend this extraordinary B&B to anyone visiting Bayeux. It is an experience you won’t forget—five stars all the way

Michael and Gene were the ultimate hosts! They greeted us as late arrivals and checked on every tail for the next several days. The breakfast was outstanding. The place was beyond beautiful. I can’t say enough. I will recommend this to all my friends and would come back again, and again.

Best stay ever!
The most amazing and friendly hosts! We were made very welcome and had a great stay. It was easy to find, and there was parking close by. The room was quiet and spacious and beautifully decorated, as was the rest of the house. Breakfast was really nice too. The centre of Bayeux is just a short walk away, and you can reach restaurants and local attractions on foot. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!

A beautiful experience that was a highlight of our tour of Normandy.
Gilles & Mickael have created a beautiful sanctuary on the edge of old Bayeux. Their beautifully renovated grand home is superbly decorated, blending antiques & curiosities with modern flair & comfort. The front courtyard & serene rear garden add to the enjoyment of this very special accommodation. Breakfast is delicious; perfect portions of home made goodness, presented with their signature style. Once they understood our interests they were generous with their advice on activities within Bayeux & for our road trip along the Normandy coast.

We absolutely loved everything this charming hotel had to offer. The breakfast, decor, proximity to attractions, and comfort of this hotel were all superb. However, the best part were the hosts, Michael and Gilles. They treat each guest like family which truly makes it a special experience. Every minute of our stay was magical all because of Michael and Gilles. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
We loved everything! By far one of the best hotels we have stayed at.
