Beautiful house in a very convienient spot for the city.

The whole property is beautifully decorated. Very tasteful and full of character. Breakfast was excellent too. Lots of choice Pierre was ALWAYS on hand to help out with extra coffee and maps and suggestions.

Enjoyed the history and the beautiful French countryside.

M. Pascal, the owner, is exceptional. He served a satisfying breakfast and made sure we were very comfortable in his grand exquisite home. Our room was big and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. Our room and bathroom were super-clean. Everything about the home spoke of quality and care. A plus was that there was free parking around the square. M. Pascal’s home was our base for touring not only the Normandie battles sites but also the beautiful Normandie towns. We had three full days but wished we had two more days to soak in the French countryside.

The place is beautiful, comfortable, cozy. The owner Pascual is an excellent host, he prepares a delicious breakfast every day. He is a detail person, very kind. Highly recommend, I'm being traveling a lot and this place is really lovely.

Absolute perfection!

This charming B & B far exceeded my high expectations! Pascal was an extremely welcoming host, and he gave great dinner suggestions. The location was perfecton: close to the city center, but on a quiet street across from a large park. Breakfast was incredible! So many choices, always with some homemade delicacy as part of the selection. I would like to return to visit this charming village and stay here again when my main objective isn't touring Normandy. There's so much more to enjoy, but we didn't have time for it. Left plenty to come back for!!

We were misled by the on line descriptions and did not enjoy our stay

Location was good.The proprietor was helpful with restaurant recommendations

We were allocated the violet room which was damp with a corresponding odour.The room needed to be sired before we arrived.The bed seemed to have a plastic underlay which made it uncomfortable.

Three nights in Bayeux.

Breakfast was superb, the host has a knack for details and spoiled us with beautiful and delicious food. The table was so beautifully set and we were given such a warm welcome every morning. Pascal was very helpful with tips and tricks regarding our day activities. Our room was large and beautiful, we could not have been more pleased with our choice. Don't forget to sit in the garden during the golden hour - so peaceful.

Parking can be a challenge but the location makes it worthwhile so be patient.

Superlative service in a charming historic house.

Everything: from the welcome at the door, the beautiful room, the expert and friendly advice for Bayeux and the region, to the excellent breakfast and help with some car rental issues that were over and above what one would expect. Merci Pascal! We regret not having been able to stay more but may be back in the future.

Magnificent property very comfortable and welcoming.

The whole house was magnificent. Our room was huge with comfortable seating and a chaise longue, lovely lighting and very comfortable bed and winged chair. Huge windows amazing bathroom and toiletries. Breakfast was outstanding in again a magnificent room. The host Pascal was lovely.

We loved everything just two little things: Parking was said to be available at the property and this was a huge plus as we had a car full as at the end of a road trip around France but there wasn’t parking only on the road nearby. Also the shower, the water was a trickle and the shower head would not stay up we tried everything and are practical people but no joy, so rested at shoulder height so while washing my hair I had to hold the shower head over my head and hubby is 6 foot tall so had to do the same. At £340.00 for two nights so at this rate we felt parking and a good shower was a must. Saying all that, it was otherwise perfect.

Very quiet B&B right in the heart of Bayeux. Great location. Beautifully decorated. The owner was so nice and accommodating. Breakfasts were so nice too.

The bed pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The stopper in one of the bathrooms wasn’t working. Other than those two things, everything was amazing!!

Adorable B&B in Bayeux

Historically charming BnB in the heart of Bayeux! We loved our stay at Le Petit Matin - very quiet with our accommodation's lovingly preserved and restored. Owner Pascal was very attentive to our needs. Our delicious breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room decorated with historical accuracy and love. Our room was large with modern conveniences and comforts. We easily walked to the center of the old town for dinner and visiting both the Bayeux Tapestry and the Cathedral Norte Dame de Bayeux. We also included a very interesting tour of the WWII Normandy Coast from Bayeux. I highly recommend Le Petit Matin

I loved the location of this property. It was very walkable to the city center. The room was large, clean, and tidy. It was very quiet and if it were warmer, I would’ve enjoyed sitting outside in the backyard with a glass of wine.

In retrospect, we wish we had opted for a higher end B&B or hotel offering more comforts and amenities.

The location was convenient to walk into town. The room was spacious. The homemade jams and croissant for breakfast were delicious.

We expected it to be more modern. Mattresses were uncomfortable. Bedding was of mediocre quality, as were the towels. The shower appeared new but was tiny. The armchair and chaise were uncomfortable to sit in. The owner was not especially welcoming - he had a facade of friendliness but it didn’t seem sincere at all. Walls are thin and you can here every word of other boarders. Be aware of the very steep and winding staircase from the ground floor to the bedrooms. It is a considerable ascent to carry your own luggage.
