Main guest room had no heating, the radiator was not working, the shower pole was broken so you had to hold the shower head in your hand.

Pleasant comfortable apartment

Very nice, ground floor apartment, perfectly suited for the 3 of us. Comfortable beds, good sized bed & bathroom, good bedding and towels. Location was good to walk into town. Free parking just outside the apartment in the evening/ night. Restaurants within walking distance. We would stay there again, and we would recommend it.

Very quiet, spacious, and well-appointed. It had everything we needed. Communication was good and access code was easy to use. Bed was very comfortable. On-street parking was surprisingly easy.

Be aware: units 7 and 8 are 3rd floor walk up.

A nice experience. Great for 1-2 days.

Old style, quaint house. Combined very old, classic architecture with lots of modern amenities. 2 twin beds put together like a king-sized bed. Very firm mattress. We asked for early breakfast and that was delivered -- quite a large assortment of breakfast foods.

Getting upstairs to the second bedroom was quite hard to climb, especially with a suitcase (no bannister). Not advised for elderly people with some physical limitations.

Ideal apartment for a short stay: comfortable, tasteful and convenient.

Good location about 5 minutes from centre of town. Apartment was clean, simply but tastefully furnished, the beds were really comfortable and the shower was great. Just what we wanted for a couple of nights.

Parking was a bit difficult on the street but there was ample parking in a free car park <5 minutes walk away.

A very nice place

Very clean and modern. We were on the main floor in room number 1. Our family were with us but on different floors. Their suites were entirely different than ours and were nice enough too - but they liked our suite better than their own. We were in very close proximity to lots of interesting sights in this beautiful town.

The lighting in the sitting area was only good when the curtains were open. At night the light bulb was far too dim. Please replace it with a better bulb that you don’t feel like you are sitting in the dark.

Great location, clean and comfortable.

As the top room under the eaves there were inky two small windows in the main room, one didn’t open so quite dark and a bit airless. Poor water pressure in the shower, glad I didn’t need to wash my hair.

Great flat but needs some changes

Charming apartment sparse but had everything needed for a nice stay. Very clean and very easy check in. I do not recommend staying in the Summer as there is no airflow in the flat and no fans, we were unable to sleep as it was so hot and we were sweating. Beds were very uncomfortable. Such a shame as this can be easily fixed.

Very cozy, clean and beautiful apartment!

As it was an old house the sounds of people walking upstairs were quite loud. The ventilation was probably based on just opening windows so I am happy that our vacation was not duruig extreme weather.

Perfect stay in Bayeux

The apartment is only a few minutes walk to the cathedral and centre of town. It is spacious with all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. The bed is very comfortable.

The space was nice

Lack of communication with staff. The cleaning crew was rude when we arrived early and asked about luggage storage We had trouble on our last day due to our ride cancelling. We needed to wait 3 hrs for our new ride and we waited on the sidewalk. No communication at all in the 3 hrs except to get our 4 euros that we did owe but were not asked for on arrival. It was the worst experience in our 12 day trip

Perfect for us

The location was ideal. Easy walking distance for the Cathedral, Tapestry and Museums. There are also a fine selection of very local dining options. We did not use the kitchen to cook, but it was newly fitted, and there was ample cutlery and crockery. Shops were close by, and there was a really nice street market on Thursday and a Farmers market on Saturday. There is free parking in the street outside the apartments. I found a space nearly every day, but there is paid parking a two minute walk away. Bayeux is a truly beautiful place, and is perfect for visiting the wider attractions of Normandy. We will definitely return to Au Loup. I recommend it highly.

There was occasional noise from guests in the apartment above, but I think that would be expected in a period apartment and not a problem to us at all.

Highly recommend this place

The apartment location was fantastic, walking distance just a few minutes to the old centre where there were numerous restaurants. It was also a very quiet location. Everything was very clean and had all essentials. Shower was great and modern. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Just a warning that there are 2 flights of stairs to get to the bedrooms so you need to be physically capable as the stairs are rather narrow and steep. The 2nd bedroom up the 2nd flight of stairs had an ensuite also, which was very handy.

We had no complaints for our one night stay.

Position is amazing. City center of Bayeux. 5 min walk from Cathedral and Normandy Battle Museum. Plenty of room in the apartment.

No window in bedroom area, just in the toilet and in the kitchen. Apartment god really hot at night. The manager did not provide fan or other mean of ventilation/conditioning.
