We stayed in an efficiency apartment like room. The fridge and microwave were appreciated. However, there was no room cleaning during the stay and only basic soap in the bathroom and shower. Parking was no charge and on the street across from the hotel. Most restaurants and shopping were a 10 - 15 minute walk away. Quiet for sleeping. Hotel staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good

Great Stay. Very clean room up some stairs. Comfy bed & a quiet room. Parking on the street for free if you can find a spot (off season wasn’t crowded). Staff was super friendly, check in/out was quick and easy. Breakfast was European typical yet plentiful and tasty. Be warned that wasting food here will cost you, so only take what you can eat (per the signs posted in the dining area).

We stayed here for 2 nights in a Studio. The room was self contained with a small kitchenette. A Nice, clean and cozy Place to stay for a few days. Centrally located near shops and restaurants.

Owner was very nice and the location was great…but no lift meant climbing 3 flights of stairs in a small curvy stairwell EVERY time you go in and out. And having to push a code on the old metal gate to get OUT. I understand why it was necessary to get IN…but why you had to do it every time to get out was very annoying. And Ive NEVER been to a hotel where there was NO ATTENDANT in the middle of the day for 2 hours! I had a lot of luggage and hauled it to the door IN THE RAIN…to find out I still had to wait another HOUR, so I had to take everything back to the car. Which brings me to the final problem, the website says free parking…well that means on the STREET which only has about 6 spots. And you better be an expert at parallel parking

Nice lady at check in - had problems with the hot water - it sputtered steam the first night - and made lots of noise. Only cold water worked. Would have been better if the breakfast had fresh bread from a bakery. The mattress was a bit too hard

My wife and I stayed in the family studio, which was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable, the well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare our own food and the parking was free and very close. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town and the British military cemetery. The owner was delightful.

We spent two nights in this hotel and would not go back. The rooms are tiny, barely in enough room to walk around the bed. We have experienced small rooms in Europe, but besides being very small, these were very plain no decoration at all, almost like some kind of cheap motel. They have an extremely inflexible check in check out policy, which made it difficult for us. We arrived at 2 o’clock from the train and they did not open the hotel again till 4 o’clock. We were able to put our luggage in a room in the hotel, but it was not secured at all and any employee or hotel guest would’ve had access to our luggage. They are closed and I mean no one is there at all. The place is completely locked up from noon to four. Check out is at 10:30. We asked if we could check out at 11 and they said absolutely not. So can we had to pack our bags up and leave them in this front room of the hotel basically unsecured. In general, not a great day.

Very nice property! Well maintained and clean. Perfect walking to town to see the sites but away from the noise. The rooms were very clean. The shower was smaller than I like, but acceptable; especially for eu. People who have mobility problems may have issues getting up the winding stairs so make sure you notify the host so they can put you in an easier room!

This hotel offers a convenient location near the city center and excellent transportation options. The room was well-equipped and included a fan to enhance the comfort of our stay. The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating, especially considering our late arrival. They were responsive through the Expedia chat feature, which was a great convenience. However, there were a few minor issues. One staff member miscommunicated about breakfast being included in the rate, and about the parking matter, which generated some confusion.

Very unique hotel! We got to stay in the "stables!" It was beautiful converted into a nice room for 3 with a kitchenette and it was very clean. Do make sure you request breakfast when you check-in for the next day if you will be wanting it. This needs to be "pre-ordered." We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

A beautiful and clean hotel in a fabulous location! There was lots of street parking nearby and a large car park about a block away. There was a good grocery store a short walk and the weekly market is steps away. This made it easy to shop and cook in the well appointed kitchenette. The bed was comfortable and lots of towels were provided. The only issue with comfort for us during a "heatwave" was no airconditioning. A fan was provided, and a good cross breeze could be achieved by opening the windows. The lack of AC was more of an issue because we were traveling with a baby. The location was wonderful and the room was clean and in a beautifully restored old building with lots of character. We will definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if in the city.

We stayed two nights. Their hours are LIMITED so you can’t check in until after 4pm, no one is in the reception building until then. Luckily for us after a couple phone calls we were able to get the door code to drop our bags in a seating area. The property is cute. Very basic. No amenities and only a bar of soap in the bathroom. The location is great. We walked from the train station took just over 20 minutes with our large heavy backpacks. We were pleasantly surprised by the room cleaning we received after only 1 night, most hotels don’t do those anymore unless you ask. If you’re looking for a place to sleep this is a great option. If you’re looking for anything other than that I would suggest somewhere else.

The owner, Amelia, works the front desk and is very nice. You can only check in after 1600. No AC but has a heater if you go in the cooler seasons. Bring your own washcloth, shampoo and soap. Close to the "nightlife" - keep in mind Bayeux rolls up the sidewalks at 1800. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Brasserie Des Ducs is close and has great food and drinks. Bayeux is the place to stay for day trips to Normandy Beaches and Mont St Michel rather than long trips from Paris.

We loved this little property! The first night we stayed in an upstairs bedroom with a loft. The second night was on the first floor in an ADA compliant room. On the first night, the stairways were very narrow and steep and our luggage was heavy! This is not the hotel's fault at all, of course!! The room with a loft was a little awkward because there was a toilet on the bottom floor with no sink. The sink and shower was in the loft. If you were travelling with friends or family, you would have to disturb the loft inhabitants in order to wash your hands. The bed and room itself was very comfortable. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and hearty. Bayeux is a quaint little town with excellent shopping, dining and people. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this little property! The first night we stayed in an upstairs bedroom with a loft. The second night was on the first floor in an ADA compliant room. The first floor is highly recommended if you are an over packer like me! The room was large and the bathroom was huge! We really appreciated the towel warmer after a cold/rainy day. The bed and room itself were very comfortable. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and hearty. Bayeux is a quaint little town with excellent shopping, dining and people. We would definitely stay here again.
