Lovely place, wonderful staff, excellent location.
The staff at the front desk were exceptional, letting us leave our bags there until check in. They recommended some restaurants and offered to assist with reservations if needed. The optional breakfast was excellent and on the day we needed to leave early, there was coffee with to go cups for us to use.
We stayed in the modern annex. There were a few other people staying at the property, and if we wanted the curtains open, they could see right into our room. It would make more sense to fill the top floor first so that we could keep the door open without feeling like everyone was invited into our room. The room was a bit stuffy, and opening the door was the best option.

Location is perfect, the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful.
It was very close to town. We stayed in the newer section.
The new section is a bit of a walk to the main house where breakfast is served. It was very modern so it took away from some of the French culture.

A very nice hotel with a short, pleasant walk into town.
Beautiful place and grounds. Nice breakfast. The newer Orchard section was quite nice with big rooms.

Very pleasant apart from restaurant choice
Room was excellent Breakfast was nice but a bit sparse at 9.30 Location and setting superb My only gripe was the restaurant recommendation. We wanted a simple bistro. We were booked in a restaurant called Les Pommiers. Initially great-starter and white wine pleasant Main courses were very poor and expensive for what we had And a small carafe of red wine was frankly a disgrace Stale, oxidised and unfinished. When mentioned to staff a shrug was the answer.
