Lovely find in Bayeux

Lovely find right next to Bayeux Cathedral with parking which is secure at night. We had a two bedroom suite which had views of the cathedral, ideal space for family or 2 couples travelling together. Our suite had a lounge and kitchen area. We unfortunately didn't get chance to use the pool but area looked great. We also didn't have breakfast. With walking distance of Cathedral, the town centre and Bayeux War museum and British War cemetery. We also used a company called Retro normandy Tours who collected us from our hotel on vintage bikes with side cars and took us on a local tour.

Very beautiful property in Bayeux, in a private setting, short stroll to the high street, restaurants, shops, cathedral etc. Set in the well maintained most beautiful gardens, with private parking facilities, wonderful outdoor pool, and very attentive service. We were made incredibly welcome by the owners. Thank you very much.

The breakfast was a little basic, a good coffee machine would be needed to serve great coffee to international guests. But we were still very well looked after, everyone was very kind and attentive.

Nice gardens, overpriced, or staff, not willing to help with issues within the room

The location was good, walking distance to everything. The grounds were beautiful.

Our bathroom faced a busy street on the ground level. We were concerned about privacy and were assured that the frosted glass provided complete privacy as there were no inside draperies to close. When we realized that you could see in to our bathroom, we brought this up to management and they were very dismissive towards our situation. We don’t feel this was handled properly and felt violated that people walking outside our bathroom at night could see inside. we have traveled a lot within France and feel that this hotel was over priced for the value.

Perfect location and property in beautiful Bayeux!

Beautiful, unique property with VERY helpful staff and amenities. We arrived later than expected and had excellent assistance for late check in. Communication prior to check in was fabulous and prompt. The accommodations were so comfortable, roomy, clean, and loved the location … view of the Bayeux church from our windows. Would definitely stay again!

We felt like guests at an 18th century manor of French aristocracy.

The location was superb: leave your car on the premises and walk to all the places worth seeing. The garden is enchanting. Nice to relax in after a day of sightseeing. It's so peaceful. Amazing swimming pool. and staff is super friendly. And we slept like on a cloud. So quiet and excellent bed.

Breakfast was average. Pity you cant order drinks (no license for this). Small suggestion. Put a shelf in the shower to put your soap and shampoo on. If you are elderly, makes it easier.

Our stay in Le Tardif, Noble Guesthouse and the city of Bayeux were the highlight of a trip consisting of Normandy, Amsterdam and Oslo. The hotel is situated in the perfect place in town allowing easy walking to all the restaurants and sites. The breakfast was outstanding, and the staff and owners were extremely helpful and attentive creating a wonderful guest experience. After experiencing the decor of the rooms and the wonderful grounds and gardens, my wife and I realized why the hotel has its name. A truly fascinating stay.
