We liked the proximity of the hotel to downtown; it was at the far end of the main strip, close to the start of the hiking path to the pyramid.
The room had a patio and access to the terrace with a beautiful mountain view.
There is only stair access to the upper floors.
The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.
The shower has very hot water too!
The room could use a mini-fridge and microwave at minimum. I am sure there is a reason foe having those available.
They do provide a fan, no AC which was okay for our stay in Jan 2026. However, the city burns something at night and if you leave the sliding doors open the smoke comes in.
The roosters and dogs are a wake up call at 5 a.m. The church bells are also beautiful in the early morning 6 a.m. with an accompanying boom. There was a religious celebration for 3 days. Again once we knew about it, it was okay, no surprises.
This is just informational, it's not to take away from the accommodations.
I enjoy leaving the slider open for fresh air since there is no AC, but the smoke smell is not pleasant. This may not be something this hotel has control over.

The location was just perfect.
Room was not clean, old blood stains on the walls from mosquitos, thin walls, so very noisy, very narrow parking.
