The setting is beautiful. There are established trees around the property and a view of the mountain. It is wonderful for children! There’s plenty of room to run around, there are toys, hammocks, and the windows are floor to ceiling that look out on the pool. The pool is nice to look at, but it is not heated and is a bit old. The music they play is sometimes enjoyable, but more for 20 to 30 year old guys.
it is dormitory style living. The rooms are extremely simple. There are three lightbulbs that hang from the ceiling and get in your eyes. The bathroom sink has a push button faucet that you have to hold constantly with one hand in order for cold water to come out. To get hot water, you have to run the shower and try to wash your face from the shower faucet. It says breakfast is included, which means cereal, milk, or yogurt. You have to choose between coffee or juice. If you want a real breakfast, you have to pay for it.

The most amazing and helpful staff I’ve seen, extremely kind and helpful with any requests! rooms are spacious, area is secluded and. wry green and quiet. There’s drinking water available at all times, good showers
Location is not close to the town , better to take taxi. The breakfast which is included could be better

Amazing! Angel and his very professional team went beyond what is necessary for a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and located next to a great pool. After a long day of horse riding or exploring the town it is nice to know that there is a cozy bar and delicious restaurant on their premise.

Can't think of anything worth mentioning.

The rooms were simple, but ok. Good mattress. Good shower.
Breakfast was cold and far too salty.
The garden looks abandoned.

There is music coming from the bar/pool area, right next to the rooms, all the time from 8-9am. It's cool music if you like this, but people looking to relax in silence should be aware of this.

Nice & clean room, I love the furniture and the vintage vibe & style. Pool is cold but not bad, it was refreshing at noon
I tried to book a massage but no luck, no staff available.

Very clean, bedroom comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful, relaxing place. Very nice place for anyone who wants to relax for a few days.
The wifi was the worst I had during the last 3 months in Mexico.
The location is a bit far from the city center.

The facilities are exceptionally beautiful. There is plenty of space to walk around, the pool is just perfect for children and the location has an incredible view to the mountains. But the cherry on the top award goes for the restaurant! This place is owned by Pizza del Perro Negro and besides having available these wonderful and genuine pizzas, the kitchen has a magic touch for everything else. Bonus: Music choice in the bar/restaurant/pool area was just perfect all times!
It's always useful to have breakfast available a little earlier when you have kids that wake up at 7 AM. The good thing is that they let us know the times and we were ready to have an early snack to be able to wait for the included breakfast that is simple but pretty awesome.

place may need a bit of upkeep but we had a wonderful weekend

The owner, Danny, was extremely helpful. The rooms are simple, but nicely appointed. There’s a pool with views of the mountains. The staff, especially Angelo, was very helpful and friendly. We loved the well cared for cats!
The rooms have no ventilation when the door is closed, and we wished that the screen door had had a lock so that we could get air during the night. Luckily we were there in January. A fan would have helped. So I couldn’t recommend this place in hot weather. The location is a bit far from town, up a long hill, and it was difficult sometimes to find taxis going and returning. The staff helped call for taxis (no Uber un Tepozlain), but sometimes they weren’t available and we were stuck. The restaurant was closed most of the time, and there was no way to get breakfast or even coffee before 9:15 when the staff came on duty. Eggs with breakfast, and real toast, would be an improvement.

this is a backpacker hostel that misleadingly is advertised as ecotourism hotel. The breakfast is super basic. the place is dirty. the location is a complex next to the highway hard to get to and not walking distance to town.

Everything! The facilities, the service, and all the activities we could do there. It was definitely the place to get out of the city routine and be totally relaxed.
We liked it all! The only hard part was to get in when we had just arrived. I recommend travelers to call beforehand so the staff can open the gates for you.
