This was a fantastic place to stay. First of all , the house is beautiful and cozy, and has the most comfortable beds I've had. The staff was extremely kind, attentive and their service was exceptional. I am from Peru, but I'd go to tepoztlan just to go there again and eat their amazing sopes (the best sopes in Mexico, by far!!). Delicious breakfast. Thank you so much for the hospitality, the amazing food and being so kind with us!

I'm a comfortable bed junkie, so when I look for a hotel I focus on comments about that. I also look at pictures of beds, and I was hopeful about Hacienda Real. I was not disappointed. The beds were very comfortable, and I slept great! Also, the hotel is located just far away enough from the centro so as to be quiet, but it's an easy (uphill) walk to get there. There are some very good restaurants nearby, but I was so full from the delicious free breakfast of fruits, yoghurt, "sopes" and more that I didn't eat out as much as I normally would. Alejandro es ley! He's the owner and is beyond helpful, offering rides if you don't feel like walking, solving any issue etc. It's a small hotel, maybe 8 rooms, in all. The view was great from my room (king size bed with a small balcony). I can't say enough... I'd live there if I could.

Perfect service at a nice hotel

the owner/manager (?) was so nice and went out of his way to make our short stay in Tepoztlán perfect. He drove us to our early morning climb and then again to the bus station the next morning. The evening coffee when we arrived was such a pleasant way to start. And he washed our laundry!! I just can’t say enough good things about his warm smile and attitude and patience with my poor Spanish. If you stay there, you can go a couple of blocks away to the restaurant, Nixte. Yum! You are near things but you are at the bottom of the hill so you should be aware.

Perfect place

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at Posada Hacienda Real, which is situated in a convenient location near the main street stretch. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the shower was consistently hot. The free breakfast at the start of everyday was hearty and a perfect way to fuel up for a day of hiking / shopping. The sope in particular was delicious! We also really appreciated the service provided by Alejandro and his team, who were always prompt to our requests and needs. Even to the point where Alejandro provided us with a nail clipper on short notice!

The staff is super friendly and attentive. They care about all your needs and wishes. They make you feel as home. Delicious breakfast, authentic and made with love. Parking facilities are perfect in a place like Tepoztlan.

Ventilation in rooms could be improved. First floor can be noisy if other guests do not respect the night silence.

the location of the hacienda was perfect - walking distance the centre of town, although up a hill. The gardens were lovely and it was a super relaxing spot after the busyness of the town centre. Breakfast was simple and easy - the staff were so friendly and accommodating

The noise of the surrounding areas wasn't great. There were lots of parties going on around the surrounding areas - nothing the owners of the hacienda could do - I did manage to sleep through it but it was loud

Un lugar para regresar siempre

Un hotel sencillo que supera todas la expectativas. Es un proyecto familiar donde cada uno pone todo para que la atención sea inmejorable. Zona tan segura que está abierta la puerta toda la noche. Dejamos sin llave la habitación una vez que salimos y la olvidamos dentro. Los desayunos son muy abundantes y de gran calidad. Siempre hay oferta adicional a discreción. Precio por desayuno es súper económico. Las sugerencias que hicimos fueron tenidas en cuenta y con muy buena actitud.. El dueño está atento a ofrecer transporte en su vehículo particular al costo de la oferta del taxi.

Hizo falta un mueble closet. Lo comentamos y fue recibida la sugerencia con muy buena actitud y con el compromiso de implementarlo.

Excelente! El desayuno es muy completo y en buenas porciones. El pan dulce es delicioso y tienen muy buen cafe. El cuarto es amplio y limpio. Aunque le hace falta un poco de espacio para guardar la ropa y lamparas de mesa cerca de la cama. Lo mejor es la amabilidad de todo el personal.

Hubo muchos niños corriendo, abriendo y cerrando puertas y haciendo ruido desde muy temprano. Nos hubiera gustado poder descansar un poco mas sin ruido.
