Great stayover place

stayed here en route towards ski holidays and the hotel is conveniently located when going towards Wilder Kaiser, Zillertal or Kitzbühel and you do not want the hassle of the Saturday entry into the valleys. It is also an option to stay of you want to ski at wilder Kaiser, as only 20 minutes by car. Rooms are very good. Food in the Hotel Restaurant is excellent, both the pork roast and the pork knuckle were delicious. Breakfast is copious and tasty. NIce staff, very attentive towards their guests. Very happy we found this place

Breakfast buffet is quite good, here quality is important, our room was big with a balcony, with 2 sides with both mountain and woods view. Room and bath were quite clean, made us comfortable.

Very professional and helpful staff - both in the hotel and in the restaurant. Very clean facility. Instead of a cot, the child got a full-fledged bed included in the price. Delicious breakfasts and restaurant with local dishes on site. Great value for money. We are happy to come back.

Having to park the car on the street was a minor inconvenience. A mini bar could be useful in the room.

At the Zur Post everything is lovely, people do STOP THERE!!

not sure what to say) it depends on what people is looking for, holidays staying or short staying, I think they are prepared for both as they do offer a tipycal German cuisine at the restaurant and for winter breaks or skiing the hotel is located closed to near skiing tracks and strategically at 2 minutes from the main motorway to Munich/Insbruck, so it 's PERFECT!

Room was big and clean and with a big balcony. Breakfast Was good as well. Loved the pillows and the bed.

Food at dinner Was reheated from noon. Also, in the pictures you can't see it's right next to the train Station.

Good choice for the stopover.

We stayed 1 night to have a short break to the Dolomiti. Naturally I had no expectation for the hotel, but the host was very kind and helpful. Hotel was located in the middle of the small town and the town was beautiful to walk around. Breakfast was also good.

Cute friendly place

Stayed for 2 nights as a base for the Wendelstein round trip; which works well from here, with the Bavaria train day pass you can travel the full roundtrip Kiefersfelden-Rosenheim-Holzkirchen-Osterhofen and then back with cable car and cogwheel train to Brannenburg or other way round, for 33 euro for 2 persons. Hotel is at the station doorstep. Spacious rooms, though sometimes quite some stairs to climb; ours was front side with balcony, no train noise at all but back side might be different. Spacious room but basic, of course this is 2-3 star hence don't expect much poshness, Bathrooms renovated not too long ago, and decent. Breakfast excellent for the price level, with even eggs made to order. Also had 2 excellent Bavarian-style dinners in their restaurant. Friendly staff.

The staff was exceptional 👏 very nice polite and helpful. Food was incredibly tasty especially for the value! The property was clean and quiet although it's very close to the railways.

The hostess was very friendly and helpful. The room was big and the beds very comfy. The bathroom seemed brand new and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was great, very friendly staff.

Wir waren auf dem Weg in die Alpen, zum Skifahren. Das Hotel iegt sehr verkehrsgünstig zur Autobahn. Im angeschlossenen Gasthof kann man wunderbar essen, typisch bayrisch. Und die Gastgeberin beim Frühstück war sensationell hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Wir hatten sehr großzügige Zimmer.

Un posto sempre cordiale e delizioso

Tutto bellissimo specie il locale in reception dopo il rinnovo e la bellissima sala per la colazione. Il solito salone con varie zone ampie per la cena di altissima qualità (filetto di vitello le insalate e le cotolette schnitzel deliziose con ottima birra) restano punti di forza dell 'Hotel! Bravissimi e gentilissimi.
