Great option for a Kufstein stay on a ski trip

Traditional and beautiful hotel from 1880, very close to the station and to the city center. Top rooms are little apartments with kitchen and living room. Great value for money.

I remember 2 years ago we had the option of indoor parking. This time we parked at the entrance and this is very convenient but the car is frozen in the morning.

A charming and historical hotel that does not compromise.

Really nice rooms, the hotel is older but not at all run down. Parking was also very good and so were the food options the recommended.

Not a fault of the hotel but the whole town closes up shop at 6PM. If you need supplies, you need to plan ahead. Of course, restaurants and bars are still open.

I will back again in this hotel.

For the second year I have been using Hotel Gisela. The room was spacious, clean, warm with everything you need for a stay. The staff was polite and kind. They offered me a card that is included in the overnight stay and is used for free use of buses, visiting the castle, ski lift, horse riding and more.

Great stay

As we needed to travel by train the next day the location opposite the railway station was perfect. The room clean and spacious. The personnel very very friendly and cooperative. The ancient atmosphere of the hotel is still present with modern comfort.

Comfortable Hotel with garage right in the city centre

Amazing staff, very helpful. Very convenient parking at the hotel, with places outside, as well as in the internal garage. Comfortable, sparkling clean room. Located in the city centre and still very quiet at night. Great value for money in Kufstein!

A good find in an excellent location

Excellent location - 20 seconds from train station and less than 5 minutes into the town centre. Gorgeous staircase! All staff (including front of house, housekeeping and breakfast) went out of their way to be helpful. Very quiet room. Washing machine in apartment was super useful. Extensive breakfast with lots of breads, cereals and salads (although some sweet pastries would be appreciated). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return if we were in Kufstein again.

The sofa in our room was a little grubby.

Lovely spot for a visit to Kufstein with our family!

We had a lovely stay -- the hotel staff was very welcoming and the breakfast was wonderful! Traveling with our 3 teenagers is not easy in terms of space, but the room combination we had here was perfect. Our room was spotless. It was also in a great location, easy to walk to anywhere we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Very clean. The building is historical, but very well refurbished. Beds are comfortable and rooms are noise canceling is very good.

Nice friendly hotel in excellent location.

Excellent location in Kufstein right by the train station. Great central point for all of Tirol. Very nice staff and very helpful with Kufstein card which gets you into castle and lift for free. A big value extra. Very good breakfast. Great old staircase from belle epoch. Good elevator.

The shower doors are very tight and unless you are a skinny ski instructor you have to squeeze to get through. I held my breath. Ha, Ha.

I would come back to this hotel again giving the location, high value compare to the cost and the wooden furniture inside which still looks modern and clean. It was a perfect fit for my ski travel.

Disappointing

It was a place to sleep and have a (very basic) breakfast. The "you get what you pay for" saying does not seem to apply here, much less serviced than what you'd expect from a place that uses the term "hotel."

Overall, an unpleasant experience and I don't want to waste more time thinking about. A few items come to mind: - Reception desk only staffed until early evening (7:30pm or so). Good luck if you're arriving late. - They advertise they offer parking when, in reality, they only have a few spots and it's first come/first serve. - Noise from the nearby train station as well as from fellow guests (i.e. paper thin walls). - Beds were uncomfortable and bedding was limited to just a duvet and a pillow. - Staff was, for the most part, rude. It appears they were bothered by having to answer questions.

excellent location two minutes walk to the centre. I thought it may be noisy near the train station but it was very quiet. The shower was very good, hot and powerful. Breakfast was good. Parking out in front of the hotel, if this is full they have a garage.

Quiet hotel even though its across from railway station.

Spotless well equipped room, great breakfast, ideal location for myself as using train & it's across the road from the station. I was arriving late & had informed the hotel, they have an out of hours process & it was a doddle.

Nothing comes to mind, enjoyed my stay, everything I would expect was spot on.
