Perfect place with great price

The communication with the staff was outstanding. Max was a delightful person and super helpful. The hotel accommodate for all the needs of my stay. Is a bit far from the center, but there is train and bus station very close. I will definitely comeback and recommend this place.

Good value for money and perfect location for me following my son for his study in ETH University.

Staff was excellent. Especially the female int the lobby that was so lovely with all here service regarding the rooms and breakfast. Super nice.

The hotel is in a busy area so the nights were very noisy and the sleep could have being better.

Honest opinion of experience

Some design elements were nice, and interesting.

Some of the lights didn't work, the room was quite stuffy and warm. Overall atmosphere felt quite dark and gloomy.

Very friendly staff!

The staff was very friendly, both evening and morning shift! They were helpful, attentive and gave us good suggestions to what we needed. There is a great pizza place in front of the hotel where the food quality is good and the staff is also very friendly.

The room was a bit too warm when we arrived but we were given a fan to cool it down. Eventually, we had no problems sleeping or feeling too warm.

Affordable stay with everything as described by hotel.

Convenient location, relatively clean room with unique design. Room had a fan available if it was hot (but not the case while I stayed). Comfortable bed and acceptably quiet surroundings.

Bathroom did not have an electrical outlet and there wasn’t one also near the mirror, so drying hair was not so convenient, as only outlet was by the bed.

I would classify this hotel as 2 star hotel or one star. Price does not match category. The bathroom is too old , needing renovation urgently. No AC only a saml fan on placed a stool.

Very Hot, one room has fan and other didn’t. Very very low light in the rooms could barely see anything, there were mosquitoes and spiders in the room. Room and bathroom stink.

Wonderful little hotel that was not fancy, but clean and lovely staff.each room has its own unique theme

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable for two rooms for our family.

The property was great with a grocery store next door and a couple of restaurants nearby. Although it was a bit out of the way from Zurich itself, there was public transportation right across to street to anywhere in town.

Nice place to stay

First and foremost, the staff and manager of this hotel are fantastic. They are always friendly, welcoming, and eager to assist you. For instance, we arrived in the morning even though our check-in time was 2 PM, but they kindly allowed us to access our room and store our belongings. On our last day, they also held our luggage so we could spend more time exploring the city. Overall, this place offers excellent value for the price, and you won't encounter any issues or troubles with them—they are truly wonderful people.

There was no hair dryer or fridge, but it wasn't a big deal.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower is the best shower we have had in a hotel, the pressure was perfect and the temperature stayed the same regardless of other cold water usage. 👍 It is not near the centre of Zurich but there are trams into town, and adequate parking in town. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there are 4 very close and a coop next door.

No kettle Would have liked the ability to make our own tea and coffee.

- The room was small and very dark, which was quite a big problem for us, but we used a lamp and pointed to the roof then that made room better for us, but this is a real problem in this hotel. - Digital Check-in was a bit confusing and problem, as we did not find anyone around and was look like we were on some empty place. - As reception was closed, so lift was closed, which was a problem for us when we reach to hotel, we have to carry luggage and baby cart with our own by stairs

Exceptional

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Kronenhof where the staff and management were top-notch. In particular, the manager, Mr. K J, was incredibly helpful and made our stay all the more enjoyable. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, the idea of the self check in with the key boy box during the reception unavailability is great and i loved it, easy steps and quick way for the check in. Next morning during the breakfast we met Mr. K J who truly stood out during our stay. Whether it was providing recommendations for nearby services, or simply offering a warm greeting every time we crossed paths, he went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. The hotel itself was also a highlight of our trip. The bus station is 2 minutes walk, the rooms were clean and comfortable. I particularly appreciated the delicious breakfast buffet each morning, which was a great way to start my day. The breakfast was so diverse and had so many options to choose from. One of the standout dishes was a plate of cheese prepared by a lovely lady at the hotel. It was one of the most memorable and delicious meals I had during our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at this hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. The friendly staff and helpful management, truly made it a standout experience.
