A reasonably priced hotel easily accessible by public transport

Hotel was easy to access by train S16 from the train station. 8 min walk from hardbrucke station. Room was a good size, suitable for a couple staying just one night. There are a few burger-kebob places nearby.

Not much to dislike in a overnight stay, The sloping roof on the 9th floor was something to be aware of so as not to hit my head (I am short 165 cms).

Staffs are friendly. Close to the tram station. A lot of restaurants nearby. The one opposite to the hotel has different choices of food and they are good.

Not a place I would stay again.

It had rooms for 3 people in single beds and it was clean.

The room we were in was so hot and there was no control over the temperature. We opened the window and put up with the noise at night and by night 3 we resorted to keeping the room door open with the chain for cross breeze ventilation. There were rules about the use of the fridge and eating in the room (really?) and the pillows were awful, I had to ask for more. Breakfast was so over priced we didn’t bother. The staff barely grunted at us when we arrived too. They didn’t even say hello. I said “Hello my name is …” and she responded with “passport”.

Decent location if you dont mind the highway

Location was a double edge sword. It was close to several tram stops, but right next to a busy highway. So at nights, (when we stayed it was rather warm weather, but they don't turn on the A/C until June/July) we would leave our windows open to let the air in, however with the highway being right next to us it was very noisy. The room size was ok for 3 people.

Mini fridge would not keep anything cool. The bathroom, although it looks modern, the main door is frosted which makes it uncomfortable when traveling with family or friends. The shower lets out all of the water to the floor since its not sealed right, and theres major gaps in the door. (Again because they went for the modern all glass look) but it just doesn't work with how the shower head is placed. Location has mentioned, close to tram stops but right next to highway leads to very noisy in the early hours.

We had a good stay, and we are happy to come back to Fassbind the next time we are in Zurich.

The hotel location good, very accessible; There are metro stations and restaurants close by. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel room is clean and have the amenities we needed. The Wi-Fi is strong and easy to access.

Not bad place to stay, but need to fix some things

Good location, not far from city centre and transport stops. Good sound isolation in the room. There are enough space for sitting in the room. Possibility to pay by card. Pretty nice interior. Small SPA and gym included. Kettle and tea in the room was useful.

Hotel doesn't provide with drinking water, instead selling you in minibar for 6 or 6.5 CHF for small bottle, looks like a joke. In general their breakfast is too expensive as well: 22 or 20 CHF (if pre-booked). There are no slippers. What was really annoying: the maid who knocked on the door at 9 in the morning, without waiting for the answer, immediately opened it and started asking when we were are going to check-out. Looked like they were not happy to see us here. We definitely did not expect this in a 4-star hotel.

Excellent, definitely will be returning for future business assignments

Exceptional friendly and helpful staff, rooms were immaculate, housekeeping is to an extremely high standard, beds were very comfortable. Bonus was ironing facilities and refrigerator in the room - perfect additions to the room. Really appreciated was the provision of a UK electrical socket outlet.

Needs additional vending machines, need to walk a distance to the supermarket / convenience shop to get basic snacks. A UK TV news channel would have helped however current technology enabled TV to be received via wifi.

The hotel’s location is very good, easily accessible by tram from anywhere in the city. Hotel is really clean and modern. Plenty of options for restaurants and cafes.

The triple room was really small with very little space for luggage. The kettle in the room had no electric outlet to plug it in. We had to move it to the writing table to plug it in. The staff was not friendly at all. No eye contact, no greetings or smiles. They would all benefit from a lesson in hospitality and basic etiquettes of being front desk personnel.
