Everything you need to enjoy a stay in a little travelled area of Kosovo. Staff are exceptionally kind and welcoming.

This is a comfortable family run hotel with historical links to the area. Their aim is to attract tourists to a little known area of Kosovo with a huge untapped potential. The hotel provided a friendly welcoming atmosphere and warm comfortable accommodation with a perfectly fine restaurant in this mountainous region. Local tradition and character are all around so open your mind and take it all in.

Unprofessional staff, extra charge.

The breakfast was very good, the hotel was clean, and the atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. Everything was well-maintained and comfortable, making for a great stay

One of the staff members seemed unprofessional. We had booked 4 rooms as a group and everything should have been fine as per our online reservations. However, a staff member gave us a room without asking us, and we were charged €10 extra. She thought it was okay to give us a double bed, but for us it didn’t matter. This experience was disappointing and does not reflect the otherwise good image of this hotel.

Unsafe, poorly managed establishment with limited breakfast options and dirty amenities

Meka Hotel was a deeply frustrating experience. Despite being located in an area where 70% of the hotel guests are Gorani people, the staff did not speak Gorani or Serbian, and the restaurant menu was only in Albanian. This language barrier made check-in, check-out, and ordering food quite challenging. For breakfast, there were only two options: a soup and an egg omelet, which felt very limited. The hotel felt unsafe; the terrace had no barriers, making it unsuitable for families. Additionally, the dimly lit corridors were cluttered with old furniture and hotel litter, making navigation difficult. The lack of soundproofing meant that I could hear intimate activities from neighboring rooms, which was quite uncomfortable. The heating system was ineffective, towels were dirty, and both the bed and pillows were small and uncomfortable. The shower took an unacceptable 15-20 minutes to reach hot water, and it leaked everywhere. To top it off, there were exposed electrical wires in the bathroom and corridors, posing a significant safety hazard. It was an awful experience, and I would definitely choose to stay in Prizren next time. Dragash needs a new hotel soon!

Surprising but tasty breakfast (soup or omlette to choose from, picked soup, was delicious) Easy check-in Plenty of parking spaces - if not in front of the hotel, next to it there are numerous One-time flip flops were a nice touch!

Hotel needs some renovation, there are some holes here and there, light not working, water leaking a from bathtub

The hotel was in very good location, 30 minutes drive away from ski center. The staff was very friendly! It was very warm in the room. The bathroom was great. The breakfast was ok.
