Prior Hotel

The initial welcome at 0100 was excellent - the young man at reception (sorry - I lost your name...something like Benton?) was above and beyond. He also served in the bar and at breakfast. The other staff were also very good - a stand-out element to our stay. The rating of 4* is perhaps a little generous, but I would describe it as a good 3* given that the rooms and shower were a little tight. The breakfast was served cooked, no buffet, but was tasty and set you up for the day. Very good coffee offer. The bar was very useful, bar furniture a little tired, but adequate. Value for money was excellent and the city centre location was even better than expected. I would definitely use it again.

A bit more space around the bed/in the shower.

A very warm welcome. Staff were attentive all the time and my room was spacious with a double bed. Thank you so much. Everything was spotless and it was useful to have a bar too. The hotel is close to many of the attractions and I was given a map to help me orientate myself around the town. Guide books were available to use too.

Service really stands out at this hotel. From the moment I was greeted and helped with my parking and bags until I left the following morning. Breakfast was great. Location is perfect for walking the old center and can't beat the parking

Underground parking, staff were super helpful and friendly, room was spot on, had everything we needed, was clean.
