Hotel Castello

Lovely little hotel, good location in the centre of Prizren. Gorgeous views over the town. Very clean and well furnished rooms

Parking was a little tricky, very cobbled steep streets up to the hotel, difficult to drive up to. Does have a couple of spaces for parking at the back however. All together a lovely stay

This was a great place to be based for a few nights in Prizren! We loved the views, the bed was super comfortable, and the breakfast overlooking the city was very special.

The room wasn’t the most clean - particularly the floor and the window sills. Also the bed was made with a sheet that didn’t actually fit the whole thing, so the bare mattress was sticking out about 30cm at the bottom - looks like they’ve invested in new mattresses (seriously wonderful) but not changed the sheet sets to fit. Also, like other reviews have mentioned, it is up a huge hill. If you don’t have a good level of fitness, it is hard to get in and out of the city centre. Makes up for it with the views though!

Very nice place, and the hotel was perfectly fine. What I can say is that it’s located very close to the city center, but getting there by car was definitely not easy—we drove around for about 30 minutes before finding it. It’s situated slightly uphill toward the center, which is probably why it was a bit difficult to access. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and received great service. I recommend asking for a room with a city view—it’s absolutely beautiful, especially at night. However, when we went to sleep, there was quite a lot of barking from stray dogs in the streets, which was a bit disturbing. Aside from these two things, the hotel was nice and the service was very good.
