Perfect location at the top of Prizren right near the fortress

The hotel was perfectly located. The staff were happy to arrange an early check in for us. The breakfast location was Instagram worthy! There was a mini bar in the room, and plenty of towels in the bathroom.

Could have had tea and coffee making facilities in the room, otherwise perfect.

A very quiet and relaxing place! Although the staff was limited during this period, we lacked nothing: the young man on duty was extremely kind, helpful, and efficient, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was clean, cozy, and well heated, creating a comfortable atmosphere even during the colder hours. The view from the window was truly beautiful. The bed and linens were of first-class quality. The water pressure was good, and the shower was pleasant and relaxing. Breakfast was simple but well organized, offering everything needed to start the day; the coffee was delicious, exactly as described on Booking. Bathroom amenities were available and promptly replenished when needed, showing great attention to guests. Street parking next to the hotel proved to be convenient and easily accessible. Considering the city’s standards, the price was fair and in line with the quality of the stay. Overall, a very positive experience that we gladly recommend!

The hotel is located in the historic city center, just a short walk from the main center and only a few steps from the castle. It is not easily accessible by car and is therefore not recommended for less experienced drivers.

We did not enjoyed our stay

Jacuzzi was nice

First of all there was one person staff ( nice fella ) but can not do everything on a hotel. The room was not clean enough and mostly cold as no proper heating was available. There were spider webs in the room and both the pillowcase and towel were torn. Water pressure was weak and the showering was uncomfortable. The breakfast was pretty basic and not enough ( advice for the hotel to better go with Italian espresso and brioche than what they offer ). Shampoo was empty when arrived which was replaced after we asked for a new one. And the parking was not actually a parking spot but parking on the road by the side of the hotel. Worth to mention we paid a lot for the standard on this city.

The view it was good and amazing with sinan basha mosque and the mountains , it’s 14 minutes to the castle and to the restaurant and coffee shop 8 minutes walk

It was no thing for the guests, coffee for example or tea or heater at less, the toilets from the door the water comes out If there’s crowded it’s not possible to find parking for car , hard little bit to arrived to the up

Expected more. It was not that clean and was quite a lot of places that should be cleaned. The breakfast was just ok and quite underwhelming for the price. The room it self was not bad but had some issues like that the bubble bath tok like a good 45 min to fil upp. Was also a little bit of food left from the last guest that had the room. To be fair when I told them about it they expressed that they where sorry for that. I think it just was a bit of a proof about the lack of attention to detail. Like I said I just expected a bit moor for the price and the overall.

Beautiful views, but what a climb up to the hotel.

The View of the Sinan Pasha Mosque and the town centre is worth the climb up to the hotel. It is run by a team of young men who try very hard and usually manage to get things right. The hotel is high enough and far enough above and away from the centre that you are not bothered by noise.

The taxi drops you off beside the river but it is a long walk up the hill with a suitcase to the hotel.

Best hotel in Prizren.

Best hotel in town! We had an incredible stay. The staff even upgraded us to a better room than the one we booked, with a stunning view of the Sinan Pasha Mosque and the whole city of Prizren. Endrit and the team were incredibly attentive to our comfort and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was also good, with a beautiful view to enjoy while dining. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Prizren.

Excellent stay, hope to return

Staff were all friendly, courteous and helpful. Breakfast was served in front of a large window with a stunning view over the city and mountains.

The soap dispenser in the shower was empty. Not a particular problem, but really should have been full.

Stay was good, nice view

For the most part, we were satisfied with our choice. We especially enjoyed the view from the balcony. Communication with the hotel was a bit difficult and when we arrived around 4 p.m., there was no one on site at first — but we were able to sort it out fairly quickly. We were traveling by car and, based on other reviews, decided not to drive all the way up to the hotel. Instead, we parked in the town, which turned out to be a good decision. The road up is not only steep but also narrow and full of potholes. The final part of the way has to be done on foot, walking over rocks. On the plus side — once you’ve made it to the hotel, the fortress is not far from there 😄

The shower had glass panels on the sides but no door, so water always ran out into the bathroom. Getting there by car is not really possible.

Good view but nothing else was good..

The view was beautiful and near the castle, but everything else was not good..

The staff didnt know much about anything. They had no water in the rooms or the bar. Room 102 was terrible and the staff knew about the problems in the room from befor. No hot water, the airconditioner did not work and it was dirty in the bed. And it says you can park here, but it is actually no space and it is very difficult to get up there because it is so steep. The locals do not like it when cars get up here and i understand why. It gets to crowded. So do not drive up ther, find parking in the city and have respect for the locals.

Amazing Views & Walkable Location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to the fortress with amazing views over Prizren. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, and we appreciated the free parking right in front of the property. Breakfast was also tasty and had a good variety.

The only thing to be aware of is the drive up — the roads are narrow and steep, which might feel a bit intimidating if you're not used to it. That said, it was easy enough to find, and totally worth it for the views and peaceful setting. A great stay overall and a perfect base for exploring Prizren!

Get view of old town

It is up a hill in old town and cars are not allowed to go up it so you have to get dropped at bridge. My taxi driver did call them though and the man come down to help me with my suitcase. The bed was so comfortable and really big. Breakfast was really good and fabulous coffee. From breakfast room you have great views of old town. The spa in the room was relaxing. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Lovely modern and central hotel in Prizren

I was really happy to have booked Hotel Castello for my short stay in Prizren. The hotel was modern and clean. The process to check in and out was easy - the two guys who greeted me were welcoming and friendly and helped with my luggage. One saw me struggling up the hill and came down to grab my bag from me for the last stretch to the door. Room was very comfortable and I really liked having a small balcony with views of the fortress and town. I enjoyed sitting out there reading my book and watching people go up and come down from the fortress. I was happy with the breakfast - it was pretty filling for me. I would definitely recommend for a stay in Prizren.

This was not an issue for me and I only want to point out if anyone reading this has mobility challenges. I did not have a car so took a taxi from the bus station. Taxis cannot get to the hotel as only residents are allowed in the area as I understand so I had a little walk to find hotel. For the last stretch, there is a steep walk up an uneven path to the hotel - it’s partway along the route to the fortress. I somehow managed to flood the bathroom floor when I showered. There is no shower door or sloped floor or barrier to stop water so my bath floor was wet most of the time as it took some time to dry. This could be down to user error but I don’t know how I could have kept the floors dry apart from taking a really quick shower.

Modern Comfort and Incredible Service in Prizren

A perfect stay at Hotel Castello in Prizren This is a wonderful hotel with a stunning view over Prizren. The rooms are modern, spacious, and very comfortable. Each room has a great balcony and is equipped with a modern air conditioning system. The service is professional, extremely helpful, and very reliable. We had a fun and friendly conversation with the staff SHEFIT AND MILOT and both gentlemen were highly competent and made our stay even more enjoyable.

Excellent view from hotel

The hotel is located on a hillside overlooking the old town. It’s halfway up the hill to the fortress. View from room and dining was excellent. The host shefit went out of his way to help us retrieve the car from a parking lot and to drive it to the hotel. google directions are wrong, sometimes police monitor and only let local residents in and the road is narrow and steep. The view, staff and room value is worth the effort. Breakfast was great.

Great stay lovely hotel and amazing staff

The room was nice and comfortable with a nice view of the castle. Location is perfect only and few minutes walk to the old town. The staff were really welcoming and helpful allowing us to store our luggage for the full day once checked out till our bus

The location and the view on the fortress up on the hill. The hotel is brand new (one year) so everything is super modern and clean. Besides, the night was very quiet: thanks to the good isolation, no noise coming in from outside.

The location was great and close to the center. The room was perfect and with balcony with view over the center.

I had to have the A/C fixed two times but the staff was super helpful. The breakfast was a bit to simple and mostly focused on white bread that I'm not that fond of.

Lovely rooms with city View

Ample, clean and comfortable rooms with a lovely view of the city. The bedding was comfortable as well (perhaps a little too much on the stiff side for my liking, but perfectly acceptable). The staff is lovely and very serviceable, albeit at times a little inexperienced.

The position is central but on the slopes of the castle hill (hence the name). The road that leads to the facility is quite steep: if one has mobility issues this is not a suitable accommodation.
