We had a great stay at the wonderful town of Pisa at the Smile House. It is a very good location, walking distance to everything. thank you for accommodating our family of four. Very reasonable and will stay again and again. Highly recommended.

Everything was falling appart.

Beside the location and the nice cleaning lady. I liked nothing about this place. Everything was falling appart. Warning signs everywhere.

The first doggy thing was the resquest for us to pay when we had already closed the payment online. Then, there were signs everywhere forbidding the guest to do even basic things, like use the air conditioner. We couldn't even use the air conditioning though it was chilly at night. And that was not an accident it was a deliberate choice by the owner. Staying here in winter means paying to freeze yourself. Very run down rooms. The plaster in the bathroom was falling. The pillows were horrible, low on height and low in quality same goes for the mattress. I asked for and extra bed for my kid and payed for it yet there was no bed for the child in the bedroom and also no extra pillow. And of course there are insects. Warning signs everywhere.

It was cheap, clean and location wasn't too far away from various attractions and other things.

It's a bit noisy at night with the road noise, make sure you bring earplugs.

Great location, steps away from the leaning tower!

Great place for the location. A very basic room for one night. Had all of the basic essentials. Good place for a short stay, excellent location from the Centro Storico of Pisa. Walking to the leaning tower was a breeze. Parking is relatively close, located near the filling station, free (but not secure). Shared bath was clean and well stocked. All in all, not a bad place to stay.

Room smelled a bit, and the kitchen was not well stocked. About what you'd expect for a touristy town. Not a bad place to stay if short-term.

Dog barking untill 2 am in the morning , couple shouting at each other other couples banging slamming around all night felt very uncomfortable left at 2 am didn't even stay there as couldn't sleep and felt unsafe and slept at airport , am yet ti get any money back for the nonstay

Convenient, Clean, and Great Location

Just a short walk from the city center, with a supermarket across the street. The contactless check-in was seamless, and the host was always friendly and quick to respond. The facilities were spotless, making the stay excellent value for money.

The rooms have no soundproofing at all — you could hear everything. Although check-out is officially at 10:30 AM, the cleaning staff knocked on the door at 9:30 and were already cleaning the shared bathroom, so we couldn’t even use it in the morning.

Once inside mostly good except some of plug outlets took thin pronged plugs while others thicker prong plugs.

Was in good location, clean and with a shared kitchen. Once inside owner was very accomodating with extra pillows etc.

We had a hard time getting in. Lock box number didnt work and when finallly contacting owner was told my debit card was rejected by booking.com and had to use another card, even though had enough money in the account. Took us 2+ hrs to get into property.

Great location to walk into Pisa and explore. Free parking nearby. Great value simple rooms, more like a hostel set up but had everything we needed. Perfect for one night.

budget-friendly and basic option for a short stay in Pisa.

This accommodation was convenient on our 1-night stop in Pisa, exploring the region. Our ensuite room was big enough, with basic furniture. The flat got another 2 bedrooms, with kitchen shared among all that provides coffee/tea options and the possibility to cook/store your own meals ; it was overall tidy and clean. Communication with the owner was clear and timely, with self check-in so quite some flexibility on the time of check-in. This accommodation is located within 15min walk to Pisa tower, and slightly further (20 to 25min walk) from Pisa city centre. As we were by car, we could park near the property in a nearby safe-looking street. During the day the neighboorhood looks pretty nice ; at late night, it did not feel the most welcoming (although there are apparently dining options around). The property is located on the main street hence depending on your room, you may hear the traffic (hence don't forget earplugs if you're sleep-sensitive). In summary, it is an alright budget-friendly and basic option for a short stay in Pisa.

The bedroom is in my humble view more basic than it appears in the pictures, and could benefit with a renovation addressing the soundproofness.

Fantastically comfortable stay

The location is very convenient to reach the most valuable tourist destinations and other needs during your visit such as the coziest coffee places, local simple bars with a real Italian pizza, an affordable supermarket where You could have Your lunch together with an Italian budget coffee ( half prices of the average coffee costs in Pisa ( everything was just a few steps away from the hotel). Generous hosting with a free coffee or tea kingly served with a variety of sweets. WI-FI was also perfectly working during my stay. Clean rooms, specious size for the bathroom. You could also enjoy Your breakfast outside of the appointment in the sun, there is a coffee table in the little garden which is attached to the property.

Very welcoming home. Everything was great.

The hosts are great, the house is very hospitable. The machine broke down and we were allowed to stay at the house until it was fixed. The help is greatly appreciated. We sincerely thank the host!
