About this bed and breakfast
"La Rocca Romantica" is a delightful two-person apartment completely renovated and refurbished in January 2015. It is tastefully furnished by the owners Renata and Duccio and equipped with all comforts. It has walls painted in warm colors, a kitchen-living room with stove, fridge, table and everything needed for cooking. A bathroom with a very spacious shower and a bedroom with a double bed. The windows of the apartment overlook the Rocca park, a quiet and peaceful place. The apartment is fully air-conditioned and with free WIFI connection.
The apartment is located only 80 meters. from the famous Piazza del Duomo and very close to all the city's attractions, bars, restaurants, shops, museums, churches etc ... It is located near the Via Francigena, the main road traveled in the past by thousands of pilgrims who came from Canterbury in Rome and still today visited by many tourists and pilgrims. The windows of the apartment overlook the Rocca park, a quiet and peaceful place only 80 meters away. from Piazza del Duomo. You will sleep peacefully and wake up to the singing of the birds.
La Rocca Romantica is very close to all the attractions of the city.
You can arrive by car in front of the apartment for loading / unloading baggage with the permission that will be sent to you by the owners. The paid parking closest to the apartment (10-15 minutes walk) is called Bagnaia N. 3 and N. 4.
There are also non-paid parking spaces outside the city center, which if you want, will indicate the owners.
If you are looking for an apartment where you can spend a comfortable and relaxing holiday, and you want to visit as well as San Gimignano other beautiful Tuscan cities like Siena, Florence, Lucca, Pisa and maybe go to Cinque Terre in one is the apartment for you. San Gimignano is well connected by bus to the train station of Poggibonsi (every half hour) and from here you can go where the morning and return in the evening to San Gimignano. We always recommend staying in San Gimignano at least three has never been here if you fall in love immediately and who has already been knows ....... Book and do not hesitate!

My wife and I spent a week in this great little apt. Very clean and well appointed. Small space but had everything we needed. Renata was a wonderful host and supported us with recommendations in the area. I feel confident recommending. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay in Renata's apartment. It is small, but the bedroom and bath were adequate for a couple. We did not cook there but it appeared to be supplied well. It was nicely decorated and the location was fabulous and quiet. Would definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect about this apartment. We met Duccio at their shop with no difficulty after taking the bus from Poggibonsi train station. He and his family were very welcoming and wonderful hosts. Renata was always quick to reply to messages. Unfortunately we didnt get to meet her :( The village is beautiful with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The town was crowded with tourists during the day, but the night and early mornings were amazingly quiet. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was plenty big enough. We went to the local grocery store and stocked up on breakfast foods and had everything we needed for the kitchen. This is a beautiful little village that takes you back to an amazing time period. We would love to go back and would stay there in a heartbeat.
