Great location.
There was no one at reception when I arrived for check-in, but I was able to resolve everything via WhatsApp with the host, who was responsive and helpful.
One small suggestion would be to include some basic amenities in the room, such as water or a simple refreshment option, especially as the pricing is similar to a hotel. It would make the experience even more comfortable.

Great location in the centre of the historic district. Spotless. Rustic historical building. Good heating. Excellent cafe on the piazza downstairs with outside seating to watch the world go by.
A lot of these older establishments have steep steps to get to your room. That is a given and comes with the architecture. A touch small as a space but manageable. Shower recesses also small but this seems standard in these parts.
