Great location at a reasonable price.

We stayed here after walking the Via Francigena from Gambassi Terme (13.4km). It was right in the heart of the town and very well positioned. Room was comfortable and served its purpose - close to everything.

A little disappointing

Nice room, centrally located, but I read online I could drop bags at hotel before moving car to parking outside the city. Not the case we had to carry bags 1/2 mile from parking outside the city, Also when we got there we found the room for 4 we had booked was under construction and we had to make do with a room for 3. Also unmanned location, hard to get hold of anyone,

Excellent room and location, highly recommended!!!

I absolutely loved this room. The location is super central (it's exactly on the main squares), it was big, clean, the decoration of the house and our room was really nice, the view to one of the towers from our bed was lovely, i really really liked this place. Also, the bed (matress, pilows, covers etc.) was fantastic!

There was a nasty smell when we entered the room. We realised that it was coming from the siphon in the shower cabin. We used a small towel to cover the siphon and everything was fine. I suggest that the owners provide the bathroom with a siphon cap or something, the room was spotlessly clean but the smell was annoying. Nevertheless the room was great. We changed 5 different rooms during our trip to Tuscany and this was by far the best!

I love this area so it was worth the issues

There was a 15% Discount on breakfast. Area perfect. Parking a nightmare. I was told 3:00pm for check-in but I sent an email asking if so could leave my luggage inside and then one back at 3:00. I was told OK but no one was there. Fortunately a kind woman was taking the trash out and she let me put my luggage inside. Very kind.

Smells amazing 🤩

Centrally located. We are walking the Via Francingina and it was close to the World’s Greatest Gelato. Smells and look very clean. The beds were comfortable. No noise. Hot water, towels, nice, clean white sheets. Lots of restaurants and we did our laundry outside the wall not far from place. Host gave us excellent directions and recommendations to places to eat.

A must see destination - Bravo to the people of SAN G.

It is close to the main tourist attractions.

Confusion with off loading my luggage there before 3pm checkin. I have done this with prior bookings elsewhere, but it seemed a little difficult for the host to sort this out. Considering most travellers are tired by the time they reach their accomm, it was somewhat draining to have this problem. I’m sure it will be sorted for future guests.

the location was amazing right in the middle of the city a very close walk to eateries, restaurants, bars, shops.

initially we had trouble locating the property & had a car but you couldn’t drive to the property during certain times of the day so had to take our luggage through the city to get to the property.

Casa Dei Potenti is in a brilliant location. Our room overlooked the Duomo. It is a room in a very old building, minimally furnished with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is basic due to the nature of the old building.

Check in time is arranged with Maurizio. I texted him and said we’d be there at 14.30. I did not realise that he would take that as exact. We were waiting in the café next door having lunch and observed people going in and out with cases but when we got in ( let in by another guest) Maurizio had gone at before 14.50! He had to come back so watch the time. He was very helpful on his return giving us a map and bus timetable. There isn’t a daily room service which was fine with us.
