Our host, Claudio, is/was AMAZING!!! SO friendly, prompt, and helped us with all our needs while visiting San Gimignano. He treated us like family!! Even checked in on us, daily, to make sure we were OK. Will tell all our friends about this amazing apartment, right in the middle of San Gimignano. Very quiet being that is inside the city walls.
NO LIFT, but well worth it!!! We got some extra excercise walking up a few flights of stairs. :)

Location , absolutely perfect. Thankful for all the extras, washing machine , kitchen etc

The location was great, we enjoyed staying in the historic building right in the historic centre. The apartment was comfortable with good air conditioning and wifi. We loved the view from the kitchen overlooking the walled city and from the main bedroom over the countryside.
The host Caudio met us on arrival and was very attentive, checking in with us during our stay, which was much appreciated. He gave us recommendations for places to visit and good restaurants nearby. A really enjoyable stay. Grazie. Claudio.
We had difficulties finding basic provisions such as bottled water and milk in the town. Claudio did send details of the supermarket and general stores but we were unable to find them. However, as we were only staying 2 nights, it wasn't so much of a problem and didn't spoil our stay. A suggestion - a bottle of cold water in the fridge on arrival would have been appreciated. 😋
