Everything about our stay was perfect. The breakfast, location- view from our room we couldn’t ask for more. The staff were awesome they did everything I even questioned if they ever went home - they work very hard and do many different duties. I would stay here again in a minute.

Very nearby town centre but very shabby hotel and the rooms are sparse. Parking is offsite and the elevator was mostly broken. Wouldn’t stay here again. But the staff were very nice.

We loved our stay. The hotel had really nice breakfasts included and the pool was fantastic after a hot day walking around the old city. We had a standard room and we were expecting it to be small. It was very small - it was difficult to find space for our cases and the shower was so small that it was hard to use it without banging your elbows. The room did include a nice outdoor balcony which made up for the super small room. The hotel was an easy walk into the old city.

This is a highly recommended hotel! The atmosphere, the pool, the food, the staff, room, surrounding, 2 minutes from the nearest Pizza place, 10 minutes from the center of town. Everything was just excellent.

The hotel is well located near the city, has a gorgeous view and it is very quiet place during night. The pool Needs better care and to be heated, it is too cold in April, the garden needs a better maintenance and the service staff restaurant needs a more polite supervisor Asap.

VERY nice and helpful staff! They consistently went out of their way to be helpful. My girlfriend wasn't feeling well, and they let us check in early so she could lay down....the room service lady who brought her some food went out of her way to be sympathetic and kind... The people who work there are top notch! The room and the facility are very nice and clean as well. The only reason I withheld that 5th star is that the hotel isn't inside the old castle walls of San Gimignano. It's down the hill a bit. The walk up the hill isn't bad at all, but there is that walk up the hill (which isn't clear in the listing). But that's a small ding for an otherwise wonderful hotel!

Just a one night couple stay on a road trip round Italy. Firstly what a view from the balcony! Room and bathroom small but adequate as I was expecting. But the balcony made the room twice as big, if only the weather was better. Breakfast was very good lots of variety on the day there. One slight negative, we were happy to pay the parking to have the car close by but I don’t think having paid however much for a room the parking should be 15 euro but like I said we were happy to pay just to have the car closeby.

Overall, the property was nice but the reason I give it three stars is because I booked a room with a hill view and they gave me a completely different room with a view of the parking area and a house. They claim they overbooked the rooms but upgraded us to a “Suite”. They didn’t inform us of this until I complained about it and acted as if there was no problem at all. Had I known this I would have booked another property because let’s be honest, the view is everything in Tuscany. Not an awful experience but I would probably recommend booking another property if a balcony view is a priority for you.

Good hotel with excellent staff on hand to make your stay a pleasant one. Plenty of loungers in the gardens by the pool also, if you want to take time out. Rooms are very comfortable and offer excellent views should you wish to upgrade. Only a short walk in to town also. Definitely recommend.

Front desk not very friendly We had a car to park instead of offering to us to park and pay They send us out of the property to park , when we realized that the signs at the parking spots said for guess only we wonder what do they call us , so I ask and she said our car was too big and it will take 2 spaces so we said ok we will like to park and pay for parking so she told us that she had to make a call to see if she could do it and she could tell is in 5 minutes, Then when we came back another person was there we asked again this time she said yes for 13e we can park and of course we said yes we had 3 rooms in that hotel Last names Martinez Acosta And Perez At the end our car fit perfectly in the spa that she told us we could not park there bc of the size Overall not a very friendly place to stay quite disappointed in this place we have been traveling since sept 15 all over Italy I think you can check our reservations and see what I mean This was the only disappointment so far all the other places have been GREAT Thank you

Be aware! This is not a four star hotel! The room are VERY small, the staff unfriendly and tired, the breakfast so poor! No restaurant at the property. It’s not aloud to put your one things in the fridge in YOUR OWN room! We would never come back to this “hotel” again!

Absolutely perfect - location, staff, and grounds! Short 10 minute walk to the gate of San Gimignano. The entire staff were super friendly and very helpful at booking several wine tours. We were able to visit both the Chianti and Montalcino wine regions from here. Oh, and the breakfast every morning was excellent!

Beautiful location and a very easy 10 minute walk into San Gimignano town, hotel staff were wonderful, very helpful and attentive. Hotel is quite dated in some areas, and a little worn/run down in rooms mainly. The lobby and breakfast areas are very Tuscan and beautiful. It will definitely need a refurbishment of rooms in the new couple of years I feel. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely visit again!
