Amazing Stay in San Gimigniano

Overpriced, pictures misleading

The view from the second room. Walking distance to San Gimignano. The waitress was very nice. The view from the second room (after we changed them) with (tiny) balkony was nice although we overlooked the parking lot.

The first room with no balkony had windows towards the neigbors. The (small) bathtub had no plug, it had multiple holes that were painted over and the showerhead was fixed in an awkward position and the provided shampoo and showergel was empty in both rooms. It was not soundproofed. The pictures of the pool are misleading. The wifi was bad. The tv was broken. The dresser had only had a couple hangers and no shelves to put clothes on. There was no breakfast in the room, staff knew nothing about it tho its written here on booking. The balkony was about 50cm deep, had no space to even have breakfast there. The retaurant was not good and the breakfast was even worse: hard bread, almost only cheese and meat. No vegan (except non dairy milk) or gluten free options, not even signs for allergens. It was way too expensive considering all this.

Pleasant stay in a great location

Location was great. Free parking nearby. Walking distance to town. Breakfast was good - great selection. Beds were comfortable and the balcony was good.

Rooms were so small could barely move around and get ready etc. Some lights didn’t work and plug socket for kettle didn’t work. When neighbouring rooms were showering you could hear the noise of the shower pump through the wall.

Breakfast buffet is fresh produce and lots of choice. The staff were so friendly and gave us lots of information for new things to do as we are regular guests. The hotel is quiet and peaceful which we love

Lovely hotel on edge of beautiful medieval town.

Location is perfect. Peaceful, views to die for. Easy to walk into centre of town. Rooms small but balcony we had was large. Beds/pillows exceptionally comfortable. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely garden for sunbathing.

We had a nice stay!

The property was very nice - I specially loved the common areas of the hotel. The location of the hotel is also great, with an easy walk to the nearby town and local restaurants.

There could be improvement in the overall staff. While the people themselves were very nice, it felt that service was limited in a couple of areas (attentiveness, service on the restaurant, accessibility to transportation at the front desk).

Under the Tuscan Sun

The pool overlooks the countryside under the Tuscan sun. Our balcony gave us a 180-degree view that was so beautiful. Breakfast on the terrace was spectacular.

Excellent location with views of surrounding countryside. Hotel has reserve parking and only a short walk into the town of San Gimignano. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyable, extensive buffet breakfast. Well maintained and clean.

Room on the smallish side but had large seated balcony to enjoy the views.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. I have never eaten such delicious croissants, the breakfast was very nice, tasty and fresh. The staff is very nıce, very friendly, very professional. The hotel is very clean, nice interior, nice landscape.

Gorgeous hotel. Lovely lounge area and reception, gardens and pool. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

The room was small but we put up with it as the view was amazing. The music was a bit loud at breakfast - clutching at straws to find much bad!

rooms were small and a bit outdated. but if you go in knowing that I think it adds to the charm. pool is nice but smaller than it looks in photos. can be a bit tight to get a car in and out of the spots but that is the same as everywhere in Italy.

Lovely hotel that exceeded my expectations.

I was very impressed by this hotel and what I offered for the money paid. The decorations, the room, the view, the pool, the welcome vouchers for drinks, the bikes available - everything exceeded my expectations. The location is very good, within walking distance to the center, breakfast was very rich and tasty, staff was friendly, for sure we will come back there.

The checkout was too early (10 AM).
