B&B Il Fienile San Gimignano

Fabulous location with amazing views overlooking San Gimignano. You stay a very short walk from the walls, which is so much better to escape the crowds when you need to and pop back in after 5 when less crowded. The B&B is authentic and the family, especially Francesca are so welcoming and lovely. As a slalom traveller I felt very at some and cared for.

Beautiful location and quality, recently renovated accommodation. Francesca was a wonderful host - very welcoming, and keen to provide lots of local information. Fresh, high quality home produce for breakfast in the garden, with a fantastic view of San Gimignano.

Great location and fantastic host. Francesca is so welcoming that we immediately felt home. She gave us all the needed info to explore the town. Not to mention huge and delicious breakfast served in the garden with breathtaking view.

Francesca was such a wonderful hostess and made you feel instantly at home. Her mother and father were also very sweet. Francesca went over and above to make sure I had a great time and outlined activities I could do and restaurants that were the best in San Gimignano ( and was even willing to book places) I stayed 4 nights and could have easily stayed longer. Such a lovely place to relax and unwind. One day I did a fantastic 5 mile walk from the house and through neighbouring countryside finishing in San Gimignano. She even loaned me the detailed map. I also did a master wine class which was excellent but you can choose what level you want. I did a day trip to Volterra which is also worth visiting. The breakfasts were fantastic - in fact I couldn’t eat everything and you looked out on to the town. This is a place to just relax and enjoy. Thank you so much for making my stay so memorable and hope to be back again.
