considering the high demand for San Gimignano it was ok for a one night stay

Small but comfortable nice BF as well as the bonus treat at the local shop for local cheese, wine and charcuterie. Later we ordered our next day sandwiches to be prepared freshly for us.

THe fact we had to carry our suitcases way up the stairs, small shower

A lovely stay inside the city walls of my favourite Tuscan town

The room was beautiful, we felt like we were in a true Tuscan setting. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. Renata communicated well and makes sure she is at the apartment waiting for you to check in. The location is great, within the walls of the old town and one street back from the main tourist drag so everything is close but a lot quieter. Renata gave us a complimentary wine tasting at a local ship which was lovely. It was also nice to have a light breakfast in the morning of coffee and croissants to start the day.

Parking is outside the town so you need to be prepared to walk with your luggage or do what we did and pack an overnight bag so we didn’t have to lug our suitcases. It’s worth it though for the location.

A lovely place to stay whilst exploring the delights of San Gimignano.

Really lovely en-suite room located in a quiet street just off the main street through San Gimignano, a short walk from the Porta San Giovanni, by which the busses terminate. Our host, Renata, was lovely, very friendly and welcoming. The tie-in with a local deli for a sample of wine, cheese and charcuterie was a nice touch (we enjoyed it so much we stayed for the full works). A great base for exploring the town.

Very little, if nothing, not to like. Perhaps a second cup of coffee at breakfast - but that's a minor detail!

Room was spacious and nicely furnished. Comfy bed. Extra blanket was offered for the chilly night. Owner graciously met me after normal check-in hours.

Room was very cold, with no heat. Bathroom was very nice but a bit small. Notes posted all over room telling you what not to do. Check out was a bit early at 10am.
