Perfect for a couple to relax.

This was our second stay at this apartment. Its been improved with the addition of a little BBQ patio. As always spotlessly clean and our host was friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent for accessing the Vennbahnweg and Monschau itself. Also good for a first/last stop before the Channel crossings. Inside is modern and bright and outside is a pleasant view over the valley.

Lovely appartment - perfect for Monschau and the surround beautiful countryside.

Small appartment which is ideal for 2 people. Well laid out, modern and clean but cosy at the same time. Just 10 minutes walk from Monschau and perfectly located for day hikes in the local area as well as visiting the town. The owner was very helpful at booking in time, and the keys were easy to pick-up (although our German is not so good the owner was kind enough to speak English). The TV in the appartment offers the possibility of Netflix / Amazon Prime (if you use your own login of course).

There are no problems at all with the appartment but just some information. 1) The walk out of Monschau to the appartment is quite steep and with ice or snow it could be tricky. 2) For the same walk I would recommend a torch at night as the road is not well lit. 3) Do your grocery shop before coming to Monschau as there is only one small grocery shop in town.

Prima verblijf voor een kort bezoek aan Monschau.

Comfortabele woonkeuken, dichtbij het centrum, het uitzicht, schoon en verzorgd, privé parkeerplaats voor auto.

De ingang van het toilet in de vrij kleine woonkamer, twee aparte matrassen met lattenbodem, stroom viel regelmatig uit.

Traumferienwohnung

Moderne, heimelige Wohnung, die fast keine Wünsche offen lässt. Vollausgestatte Küche, großzügiges bequemes Bett, sauber...was will man mehr? Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war unkompliziert und herzlich. Probleme wurden schnell aus der Welt geschafft. Wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Das Bad ist sehr schmal und für korpulentere Menschen möglicherweise nicht geeignet.

Tolle FeWo oberhalb von Monschau

Sehr schöne FeWo am Hang. Super netter Kontakt. Schlafzimmer, Küche und Wohnzimmer mit angeschlossenem Bad mit Dusche. Alles sehr gut ausgestattet inklusive Basis wie Kaffeebohnen, Geschirrspültabs etc. Lage oberhalb von Monschau geschätzt knapp 1 km per Pedes bis zur Altstadt. Sehr gute Ausgangslage für Rad und Wandertouren im hohen Venn und der Eifel. Sonderwunsch Kinderbett wurde inklusive Bettwäsche erfüllt.

Was uns aufgefallen ist. - falsche Adresse in Booking.com, daher nervige Sucherei bei Anreise - Defektes, scharfkantiges Kochfeld - Keine Fliegengitter an den Fenstern - Keine Rauchmelder im Flur und Schlafzimmer - Der im Schlafzimmer installierte Fernseher ist ohne Funktion - Abgeplatzter Wandputz liegt auf dem Boden am Bett - Keine Ablage für Tagesklamotten im Schlafzimmer - Kaum Ablagen in Badezimmer

Schöne, saubere Ferienwohnung und ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt nach Monschau und zum Vennbahnradweg.

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist Traumhaft, Wir sind mit Fahrrädern angereist und man ist in wenigen Minuten auf dem Vennbahnradweg und in der schönsten Natur. Auch eine Besichtigung des Städtchens Monschau ist zu Fuß kein Problem. Von der Wohnung hat man einen schöne Sicht in die Natur. Nette und unkomplizierte Gastgeber.
