The Threshing Barn

The Threshing Barn is in a countryside location a few miles from Harrogate and convenient for RHS Harlow Carr. The accommodation is extremely well-equipped. We appreciated the few provisions that were provided and the chocolates were a lovely touch. Kate and Andrew were wonderful hosts and proactive in communications. We would stay again if in the area.

A lovely little place in a perfect location for me, tucked away enough to be secluded and quiet but near to everywhere I needed to be. It was a clean, comfortable and fun little barn conversion, and Andy and Kate made me very welcome. I was very lucky with the weather (especially for Yorkshire!) and the little terrace out the back was a lovely spot for a leisurely breakfast on the mornings I was there.

The was nothing about the place that fell in any way short of what I was looking for!

Beautifully done. Extremely friendly and helpful hosts, and the same time as being invisible so you feel you are on holiday solo... Really really easy to deal with, kind, even offered to push my broken car (which started ok in the end). Parking is in a big farm barn, super safe. You can walk through fields towards Harrogate outskirts (or the local pub) if you're handy with a map. Tables outside on both sides of the house, so you can be in sun (or shade) morning and afternoon. Great value. A beautiful retreat from the world, superbly set up, very peaceful, but also a tiny drive to luxury supermarket! Fields over in front and back golden this July. Well done booking.com review system...
