Lovely weekend, just a shame about the WiFi.

We have stayed in this property a few times, it is lovely and spacious, very clean.

The only issue was the WiFi, which had happened in previous stays too. We couldn’t watch Netflix etc as it wouldn’t load, I did message the owner but I’m guessing they might have been on holiday as I didn’t get a response.

Clean, quiet well priced acomodation, well placed for those who want to travel/visit locally

The Lido Holiday park was easy to find. The static caravan was very clean and the cooking / living area much more comfortable and spacious that expected. The car parking was good and it was very quiet. Given the heat an electric fan had kindly been left for our use. There is a small retail park close by where food etc can be bought if self catering.

To say that toilet paper is provided and then leave only 3/4 of a roll between 2 bathrooms seems a little mean. The wifi code didn't seem to work but we didn't really need it. It was very hot on the dates that we were staying. The fridge had been turned down so that the items we bought and put into the fridge actually warmed up; we did adjust the temperature so the issue was solved. Being on the outskirts, the location is not particularly good for an evening stroll into the centre of Knaresborough for sightseeing, drinks or meals.

Another Fabulous stay at Knaresborough Lido

Knaresborough Lido is lovely and friendly, the caravan was well appointed and clean. It was one of my favourites so far as it was in a corner. It rained a lot, but so what, a relaxing peaceful holiday. Beds were comfortable. Woke up to the singing of wrens, robins and blackbirds everyday ( the pigeons tried too but not as tuneful!) Already looking at next year.

Nothing. The Wi-Fi dropped out a few times, but you just waited a few minutes and it came back.

Extremely disappointing and not good value for the amount we paid

Location was good with easy walking distance to Knaresborough and its facilities. Also, retail park very close with M & S Foodhall, Matalan, TK Maxx, Boots etc

The oven trays were very dirty/greasy with food welded onto them - need replacing. There was a lack of dinner plates etc. The cutlery was very basic and we had to wash it before use. There were no oven proof dishes for use in the microwave/oven. The loo seat had to have a temporary mend with loo paper as it needs securing. The internet connection was terrible so could not access emails for next holiday accommodation we had booked and watching ITVx etc was almost impossible. The owners were away on holiday and did try to give some instructions via Whatsapp but not successful. We did think she may have come across to meet us when they returned but did not.

A real treat to stay here, close to town but away from the traffic and bustle

Lovely holiday home on a very well run site. Everything was immaculate, warm and comfortable.

Disappointing

It's location is good. Easy to access van. The Internet was very good.

The bar was closed for both days, very disappointing. If we had known this would not have booked up. Same with on site shop, the caravan has seen better days, needs refurbishment of doors and mattresses.

Lovely holiday home in a beautiful location. The place was extremely clean and had all the amenities you need. It was extremely cosy with a nice electric fire and tv with steaming subscriptions ie Netflix and Disney. The caravan park has everything you need with a lake running along side which was a nice walk that lead into the town centre.

Seemed new and liked the proper furniture rather than the built in standard static caravan seating etc you often get. Great to have full size fridge freeze too

Caravan was spotless throughout was very impressed. The wifi was great and added bonus of Netflix and You tube channels. The location was perfect and very quiet for relaxing just what we needed. Exceptional

It wasn't Leylandii, but Tall Trees - the switch was absolutely fine, the caravan was more than our expectation. It was well equipped, clean and comfortable, in fact I think the lady said Tall Trees was slightly larger. the location was great. (My husband has a new job in Ripon, so we went to explore Ripon and go the Thornborough Henges.) We were very impressed and the host ran about the site for us because (as usual for us,) we could not find the site and extra to that I had not updated to my mobile phone number, so I did not get the instructions. (Stupid me- brilliant service.)

Absolutely nothing, I have avoided caravan parks before, I don't really like them, but it was open and tidy and clean and two cars were accommodated, We (as a group) would recommend it as a good base for the area.
