Christmas 2025 A gold star

Hi Would just like to say thank you and to let you know we had a great cozy few days in your beautiful caravan. Everything was as expected and more. Your home is a delight. It was lovely and warm too. Hopefully we left it clean and tidy as well. Plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobes which was nice to see. We love this location as it's so close to the town and plenty of places to walk our dog. Our daughter works at Warner's Nidd Hall. So when she works at Christmas time it's so nice for her to join us for Christmas dinner before returning. You have a super home and if you will have us we would most definitely like to stay in the future. Thank you Kind regards Mandy

A bigger bath towel would be great when it's cold. Some just don't go all the way around the body.. Haha but we still appreciated not having to bring ours. An extra pizza tray would be handy as we generally cook two. Really there is nothing to not like here. Maybe it should be renamed 'How can we help you further' not 'what didn't you like'

Beautiful, immaculate lodge by the river and close to amenities in Knaresborough

The lodge was beautiful and had everything that we needed. It was exceptionally clean and tidy. The welcome box of goodies was a very lovely surprise. It was a perfect position for walks by the River Nidd and into Knaresborough. The host was excellent and responded immediately to my questions before and during the stay. We will definitely be coming back again.

Nice clean caravan and park ,ideal for a base for York, Leeds etc

The caravan was spotless ,The host was very easy to contact and everything you needed was there ,nice touch providing milk and bread etc on arrival .Easy to get a bus into town if you didnt want to drive .And railway to York and Leeds .

Very poor facilities on site only a part time shop that only opened half the week for only a few hours ,nothing to do on the actual caravan park bar walk your dog or go for a run .The Cafe doesn't open late so you cant get any meals on site or even a drink .And parking at the caravan was quite tight sometimes if other cars are parked opposite

A great little find

Very spacious and comfortable. Easy to find ! Great location There is everything you need in the caravan . The beds were comfortable and the shower was great . Nice little welcome basket with some essentials which was a nice suprise . The TV is a good size and the living area was really comfortable. The site although big and busy was very quiet and we felt relaxed the whole time we were there . Sue was really helpful and easy to contact .

Excellent location, property well presented with good amenities.

Had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Kept clean with no damage, good heating & TV, board games for all ages, well located for local transport links. Knaresborough is fantastic, very well served. Bus stop 2 minutes walk took us into Knaresborough & Harrogate and train from Knaresborough to York takes just over 20 minutes. We didn't need to use the car!

A little difficult to get comfortable with hard seats and springs you could feel in the beds. On site amenities not great, good thing retail park is close (pub Weds-Sun with no food Weds/Thurs, cafe 10-4 and shop 11-2).

Everything was great, had a lovely long peaceful weekend

The only tiny problem we had was with the TV, it kept freezing and going off, and then wouldn't come back on for a while. Didn't spoil anything though

Beautiful Location and a great stay.

It was very kind of the hosts to let our family stay with small children. It made our trip so much more affordable. The water from the tap is the best you will taste in your life. The river is a very short walk (2-3mins) and our kids loved it. The price is great. Games for kids. Quiet location.

We didn't use the fold out bed. It seemed like we would break it from the wooden surrounding structure if we pulled it out. Kids just slept on the top. Would be great to have some body soap for the shower for guests to use. There is a £100 deposit required 7 days prior. This is in the fine print on booking.com but thought I would note here for other guests that miss it. Not the easiest if you don't have a uk bank account and are coming from overseas. My deposit was returned promptly after our stay.

Lovely,peaceful,relaxing and super clean.

Everything in order and immaculately clean. Very nice outdoor space for us and our dog. Clearly a lot of pride taken by owner and cleaner to ensure you can literally walk straight and start slowing down.

With having a dog the only thing that would have made it a little easier was if there was a gate on entrance from steps.

Such a beautiful park, our accommodation was perfect. Some really welcoming touches. We enjoyed our complimentary basket of goodies. Like home from home.This is not a commercialised park at all (which we knew) so Such a lovely traditional place to spend family time together, we made use of the board games provided and took our own. We made precious memories ! so good having 2 toilets in the accommodation. Nice outdoor area with table and chairs and a parasol. And room to celebrate both a 23rd birthday and a wedding anniversary. The whole park was so friendly, everyone took the time to acknowledge us .. beautiful by the Riverside,feeding the ducks, and having a picnic. Plenty of facilities in the nearby area, swimming pool, towns, tourist attractions. Extremely cheap parking .and parks with free facilities such as crazy golf! So much Information provided in the accommodation. Highly recommended. Thankyou

There wasn't anything we didn't like ..just be prepared for some hills and fairly steep slopes. Coming from Norfolk, we dont see too many. Did not impact our holiday in any way though. Take comfortable walking shoes 👞

The caravan/lodge was the perfect place for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt at home the minute we arrived. All the facilities and appliances we needed were there and the place was super homely! The welcome basket was a wonderful extra and we appreciated it so much! We will for sure recommend to friends and family and will be back in the future if you aren’t too booked up! Thank you so so much for the stay, there’s nothing bad we could say about the place. The property was super clean with a great layout and lovely features throughout. We are delighted to see a welcome basket which saved a trip to the super market following a long day at GYS. The bathroom was clean, bed linen was exceptionally clean and tidy. Comfortable beds also.

Superb

Amazing caravan with everything you might need for a comfortable self-catering stay. We were pleased to find the loaf of bread, milk, and butter in the fridge, as well as the selection of jam and biscuits for our breakfast left by our host. A very big advantage is that the place is dog friendly. I definitely will recommend it to everyone.

Caravan is very neat, comfortable, clean and very peaceful! We didn't want to go home because we love it there. My parents love the fireplace and wanted to take it home with them. Lol This caravan is perfect, love the spacious, located in beautiful place to be. We would love to come back!
