Knaresborough is somewhere I've always wanted to visit. It's a beautiful market town. Lido leisure park is huge and is located on the river Nidd. The holiday homes are fabulous. Clean and comfortable. There is an onsite shop (check opening days and times with the main reception) and laundry (open 24 hours). There's an onsite cafe (10 am till 4 pm) by the river and also an onsite bar (check days and times of operation with the main reception) called the Mill Tavern. Which is a fantastic looking place and is excellent for entertainment. Singers, bingo and quiz nights. The staff are brilliant and extremely helpful.Thanks to Bailey (hopefully spelt correctly) and his Mum. I walked into Knaresborough with my dog on the river path which is the most pleasurable walk I've ever done. Kingfishers and Otters may say hello if you look closely. It takes about 45 minutes passing Knaresborough Cricket club and is worth every step. The main road takes you into town as well and is around 15 minutes with plenty of pubs. I was on foot so M&S is 5 minutes over the road in a retail park. Asda express is a 5 minute walk also. Lidl is a 10 minute walk. Aldi is about 15 minutes. I'm going back again in December. I rate Lido very highly and recommend it.

The caravan is overall a good standard, beds were comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped there are DVD’s for the kids, it’s on a quiet, small site and is good to use as a base for Leeds / wetherby & Harrogate.
The only disappointing aspect was the cleanliness of the carpets. The property is pet-friendly, which we were aware of and have no issue with. However, the carpets hadn't been cleaned properly and were covered in animal hair. A more thorough clean between stays would make a big difference and improve the overall experience.

Clean, comfortable caravan on a lovely, peaceful site. Really nice walk along the river into the centre of Knaresborough. We had a very relaxing few days.

Very pleasant stay the site was great and very close to lots of facilities.
Only thing I could critique was that a lot of ants were in the caravan kitchen and we had to keep our locked food away because of this. But everything else was great
