Best place to spend my birthday — I’ll definitely be back

Our experience was absolutely amazing! We had the best time with friendly, welcoming staff and delicious food from the restaurants. I celebrated my birthday there, and the team went above and beyond by writing a thoughtful birthday message on the mirror in my room — such a lovely touch. I couldn’t recommend this place enough and will definitely stay here again when I return. Thank you for making our stay so special!

Worth the peace and quiet!

Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to the old town. Breakfast buffet is amazing. Dinner scenery in the restaurant and views from our patio can’t be beat. Rooms very clean and staff was professional and helpful.

Paradise with an ocean view

Great communication from the hotel before we arrived, in a wonderful location, our room was large with a balcony that looked over the crystal blue ocean, down to the board walk for some evening drinks as the sun set then a couple of drinks in the cave bar before dinner at Restaurant Tramuntana where we had the perfect meal under the stars. Food and service was spot on with very friendly staff. Big breakfast in the morning with all you could want, again looking over the ocean. Big comfy room, comfy bed, hot shower, cold A/c. Quick Uber ride to Old town to explore the walled city, then back to our slice of paradise. I would stay again and highly recommend for a home away from our Australian home.

The views, promenade, cave bar excellent

There were footprints on the carpet in the room left by previous tenants, needs shampooing. The amenities in the bathroom had the hair conditioner outside reach of the shower, and not lotion bottles. A $15 euro fee for any delivery to the room, hence why we didn’t call for lotion.

Great hotel, spacious rooms and bathrooms. We had a two bedroom suite and it was perfect with great balcony view of the sea. Close to Old Town but away from the hustle and bustle. Nice pool as well. Cave bar is fun.

Fabulous once we were moved to a new suite

The hotel is in a great area fairly close to the airport. Gorgeous views from every angle you look. Lots of places to eat and drink close to the hotel. We enjoyed the larger pool and our visit to Restaurant More. Rooms were clean and bedding and towels were replaced too often. Bathrobes and slippers,(which never fit my 6ft+ frame), provided in the suite bonus and also having good toiletries in the bathroom. Lots of space to hang clothes and lots of clothes hangers, another plus as most hotels provide very few. Nice comfy pillows too.

The initial suite we were allocated the air conditioning wasn’t working properly and we had to keep all the curtains closed to keep the heat out. We had a fabulous sea view but couldn’t see it as the room was unbearably hot with the curtains open. The bathroom was like a sauna and unbearable to stay in for more than 5 minutes. The room was situated under the driveway from reception and the flat roof absorbed all the heat from the day, resulting in hot ceilings. The bedroom had a sloped roof so we had to bend over to reach the bed and wardrobes and hit our head many times doing so. We reported the room after 3 days as we couldn’t stand the heat anymore, reception staff couldn’t have been any more helpful and we were moved to a fabulous new suite, with fully working air con. This was a far superior suite that we wish we had been allocated at the start of our holiday. It wasn’t the hotel staffs fault as until you experience the heat in the room, you can’t possibly know. We had a lovely holiday nevertheless, but it was far better with the new more modern suite.

Fabulous hotel, amazing staff, superb breakfast, stunning location !

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. We were a group of 8 and we all had amazing rooms, it was great that our daughters had their own space with sofa bed and TV. The most fantastic breakfast and service from staff. On the first night I asked for extra hangers, ironing board/iron and kettle and it was delivered within 10 minutes ! Comfy beds, large balcony area, amazing views, well done to everyone who works there ! Would love to go back !

The rooms were okay in terms of space and size.

Most things. All that glitters isn’t gold. We were swayed into booking the stay with the lovely photos and ads that we saw but they weren’t the entire picture. We had booked a two day stay for our honeymoon, we reached to find a room that didn’t have a functioning Ac, that had a balcony but barely a view since the balcony wall was too high. We weren’t contacted about our preferences for a double bed or two single beds but we reached to find two single beds joined together with two individual sized duvets. The service wasn’t like what we were used to back home, for even the most minimal requests, like an ice box or in-room dining, we were being charged an extra service fee of 15 euros. This is, mind you, on top of the premium pricing of the rooms. The restaurant dishes were overpriced to further antagonise us. While we were accommodated into another room the next morning as per our request, the entire experience didn’t have close to a 5 star quality and severely impacted our experience of the lovely city of Dubrovnik as well. We normally aren’t very picky as customers and tend to accommodate most services when we can see the service providers doing their best, here we felt like we were a burden on the service team and they were doing us a favour by accommodating us. For anyone reading this wanting to celebrate an occasion or even planning a vacation, I’d recommend an Airbnb or another resort/hotel nearby. Hotel More doesn’t live up to its reputation or theirs patron’s expectations.

Wonderful hotel with the best view in Dubrovnik

Absolutely stunning hotel in a wonderful location. The views from our balcony were possibly the best in Dubrovnik. Staff and service were absolutely 5 star. I love a hotel breakfast, and this did not disappoint. Fresh juices, huge selection including made to order egg dishes and local cava ❤️ We had dinner in Restaurant More as too tired to go further after hours of walking and wish we'd tried it earlier. Highly recommend. All in all a wonderful break and I'm going home pampered and relaxed.

The view from room 714, corner balcony with day bed and private jacuzzi, absolutely stunning. The service from all the hotel staff was exceptional. Super comfy beds, so quiet we had completely undisturbed sleep.for 3 nights, it was amazing. We will definitely be going back.

The hotel was really nice, and the staff were really nice/friendly. They would knock to give chocolate sweets and were overall lovely. The view from the hotel was great and we were upgraded to a room with a sea view and the view was impressive and was also quite spacious. The breakfast was nice with multiple selections of everything (jams, cakes, juices etc) They also gave a breakfast menu if you wanted something else instead of what was available (eg boiled eggs, English breakfast etc)

The only thing that I would consider a downside and not necessarily that it was a bad thing, it was just confusing at times was the layout of the hotel, as the hotel consists of two separate buildings. For example our room was on the 7th floor, so to get to the 7th floor you had to get the lift from the reception to the 5th floor and walk across to the other side of the hotel and get another elevator then to the 7th floor. This led to a lot of laughs as we found out that we weren’t the only ones getting lost around the hotel. The only other thing really is probably the location of the hotel. Which was on me as I underestimated the distance from the hotel to the old city. It’s not that far if you’re travelling by taxi, which if you’re going to be using a lot of taxis I recommend using Uber as it’s a lot cheaper than flagging down nearby taxis. But if you wanted to walk the distance and see the scenery, it’s a 40-60mins walk.

Mini Moon Dubrovnik

The location is amazing, the views from the hotel pools and restaurants are stunning. Food in Restaurant More was excellent we ate here twice! It is only a 15 min taxi to the old town or there is a bus you can get also which is a short walk from the hotel. The Cave Bar is excellent during the day for drinks by the sea. The hotel is also close to other hotels that have great sunset bars and restaurants if you'd like to explore the area a bit.

Unfortunately one of the elevators was out of order during our stay and it was the direct elevator to our side of the hotel, we needed to walk to the other side of the hotel and get a different elevator and then walk back to our side whenever we wanted to get to our room. Not the worst situation but a little frustrating at times.
