Absurdly overpriced

Location almost at the Piazza Grande, but not right at the Piazza.

Totally OVERPRICED for NO REASON, even more overpriced at the time of the concerts at the Square. No AC or even a bit of ventilation because half of the room windows open to another building and the air doesn’t flow. It is extra small and old. Dont pay more than maybe a hundred. Anything above is absurdly expensive. Also Locarno is tiny! Streets are very small. Anything 1-2 blocks from the square is almost at the square.

Outdated room (incorrect pictures), noisy at night, overpriced and no customer service!

Location is very good. Almost on the main square. Only good thing about this place.

The room was very outdated and looked nothing like the modern rooms they advertise. That is NOT acceptable as we selected this hotel based on the beautiful looking pictures. The room was next to the staff changing rooms and till 1PM there was loud noise, laughing, even whistling. We could not sleep and had to ask them to keep it quite. Same issue early in the morning when staff arrived. They promised a 50% discount in the car park which we didn't get. For 2 days we ended up paying 101 CHF (!!) on parking fee. They did nothing with our complaint but referred to their own website where the text is different than on booking.com. Also NOT acceptable. Food in their restaurant is also not good and overpriced. See my pictures to see what the room really looked like. I would avoid this place.

All together a positive experience, but mind the small bathroom on single rooms

Situated in the heart of the city, quasi on Piazza Grande, this hotel is small and cosy, but also comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming, I was offered the free Ticino Ticket, which allows free public transport in the whole canton.

The bathroom was very small, you could really feel squeezed in. The breakfast was on itself certainly OK, but all options with milk on the coffee machine were unavailable unfortunately. I would have enjoyed a cappuccino, but there was no one to ask... Also, I thought it was a bit unfortunate that breakfast was taken in a rather dark room at the first floor, while a nice terrace on the square was available... it could have been a nice option offered to the guests. Finally: prices in Switzerland are what they are of course, but still I found my rate really high.

for 2 nights stay is ok but its really quite expensive.

Location was perfect just infront of Piazza Grande. The hotel personels was friendly and helpful although we are having problem with the language. Our room was clean. The bed was big enough for me and my husband but only one blanket...and surprisingly the mattress was really good.

It took us 30 mins to find the hotel because it was thursday market in the town and they don't have big signage at the wall or on the streets. Its quite expensive for a small hotel, the room was really small, i thought at first they gave us a stock room and the bathroom when we arrived the towel rod was not on the wall, all his materials was laying on the top of the toilet bowl, good that my husband fixed it. and that bathroom was really small with their paint on the wall looks dirty. I told the receptionist and she gave us 2x coffee for free.

The staff was really friendly. The location is really central.

The room was very small but ok. The bed was also small with one mattress. The bath was refurbished by no expert. Red colour with silver stribes is not modern. The bath was not really clean, if you check the baseboard. The wifi was very weak and lost the connection. We stay in the third floor. No prospect, you see the next house wall in 3m distance.

Lage perfekt. Personal alle sehr freundlich. Zimmer sind sauber und schön. Genug Platz für uns 3. Das Grotto zum Essen ist etwas sehr besonderes und jedem zu empfehlen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, keine lange Strecke zum öffentlichen Verkehr.

Das Frühstück war Reichlich und mit Freude zubereitet.Zudem äusserst freundliches Personal. Nett und zuvorkommend! Schöner Frühstücksraum,nett eingerichtet und sauber. Zimmer war ebenfalls nett eingerichtet und ein Super Bett zum schlafen!!!

Im Zimmer war eine Kaffeemaschine, reichte leider nur für zwei Kaffees. Hätte mehr haben dürfen! Das könnte man verbessern. Ansonsten wirklich zufriedenstellend.
