Location was fantastic, the property has everything you need.

The wc has been squeezed in, this needs to be re designed with a walk in shower, then WC, sink and shower can be along the right hand wall. It’s a very narrow room to get dry in there!

Everything you could possibly need had been thought of. We arrived very late, yet the lovely host still greeted us. Clean and modern decor. Fully equipped kitchen. Lots of thoughtful extras were included. A great location. Would visit again.

My husband and I stayed here in the middle of July to attend a wine tasting tour nearby. We kept in touch with Shahid and received a warm welcome from him when we arrived. Quiet area and comfortable stay. Lovely biscuits and toiletries and decor.

The only thing I wasn't keen on was the slopped car parking outside the house but my husband was driving so it wasn't an issue.

Location was lovely. The host greeted me upon arrival and talked me through the ins and outs of the accomadation also advising should i require assistance they would be happy to help. Very quiet, clean street and only 10-15 mins walk to local shops. I chose to drive to Tesco's which was very close. The house actually contained everything you would ever require. Definitely a home from home. Cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Small individually wrapped butters, jars of conserves and milk were all ready in the fridge. Cupboards contained a variety of teas, herbal teas, coffee and decaf, seasoning for food and some posh biscuits :-) There was a microwave, hob, oven, kettle and toaster. The bathroom smelt lush and fresh. Shower very powerful with plentiful hot water. Bed was very comfortable. I do think it was a memory foam mattress which was perfect. Duvet and pillows are feather filled and snug. Small sofabed at end of main bed. I didn't use this as a sofa as i was out at a works training course so can not comment on its comfort. A small coffee table which housed a ''how to use '' guide on everything related to the house and places to visit. Dinner table and 4 chairs which was ideal as i was able to use as a desk to catch up on emails. Everywhere was immaculately clean and i was even able to walk bare foot (forgot slippers) and not a hint of dirt on the floor nor dust. The drive way is double and enough for 2 cars. Despite my stay being during the hottest week, the house was cool during the evenings and throughout the night. Not once did i have to use the tower fan that was provided. I actually plan on using this place again but not for work, just for leisure as its a relaxing little gem.

Very inviting and clean. The bed was super comfortable. It was very nice to have all the information located in the binder in one place. Very helpful! I would definitely love to stay here again next time I’m in town!

Absolutely lovely studio apartment with excellent facilities & the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! Easy & safe parking right outside. Warm welcome from super friendly owner after a long drive was a really nice touch. Will definitely return if in the area again 👍

Everything you could need for a short break - very well equipped and it was all very well organised into a compact, but large enough studio for two people. Easy to self cater but also only 10 minute walk into town, which was perfect and we didn't need the car. Shahid very helpful and accommodating and responsive to messages. Was great to find we had fresh coffee, tea etc as well as butter, jams and biscuits.

It probably wouldn't bother most people, but we are used to living in a rural area, so found we were disturbed by cars passing on the road, though it wasn't busy. Again, personal preference, but we found the bed too soft for us, though it (and the bed linen) were clearly of a very high quality.

Travelling with our daughter - the sofa bed was barely adequate, although everything else was good.

Attention to detail!! The owners go out of their way to think about what a short term traveler would need! This is really the first time someone paid so much attention to the small things!

Great location, nice and quiet. Friendly owner. Comfortable and clean, well equipped.

Sofa bed uncomfortable as a sofa. Hot water tank not quite big enough to run a bath.

Studio had everything you would need for a few nights away and the host was very generous with supplies (cooking oil, tin of biscuits , medical stuff, toiletries).

Only a small thing but the blinds let in light so during the summer, this was quite early

Good space, nice to have tea bags, marmalade etc. available. Friendly host. Early check in arranged. All very easy.

The apartment was nicely furnished and the supplies that were there were useful. We could park right outside, although it was a steep slope!

The website does not make it clear that breakfast is not provided, particularly bearing in mind some of the comments. The proprietor explained that from this year he was not providing breakfast in case he was away. In answer to our question, he said that we could obtain breakfast somewhere locally, but this was not so. It was quite a walk into town. We feel that he (or the cleaner if he is away) could provide a loaf of bread and some yogurts, and that would have been sufficient.

The room is ideal for a couple at best but certainly no more. The host was great and amenable really helpful and insightful.

There was a leak from the ceiling which we weren't told about then one morning completely unannounced a group of tradesmen turned up to fix the roof making all sorts of noise, not a problem. Apart from this was a bank holiday morning, nobody had informed us it was happening and they didn't bother to knock, however did proceed to pull down there pants to arrange themselves outside the window! Their work didn't repair the ceiling! Also the details on the property said breakfast would be in the fridge, not the case, there was cereal left in the cupboards but 7 months out of date.
