Esperas

We chose Esperas for our honeymoon, and we truly could not have made a better choice. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely wonderful. We received a refreshing homemade lemonade as soon as we arrived, which was such a lovely welcome after our journey. When we checked in, we were also welcomed with a glass of Prosecco – a very nice touch that made the beginning of our stay feel even more special. We had a beautiful, spacious and cosy room with a breathtaking view of the caldera and our own plunge pool. The room was spotlessly clean throughout our stay, and the housekeeping was excellent. The hotel also has a large shared swimming pool, which is absolutely perfect and wonderfully refreshing, especially after a hot day exploring Oia. It was one of our favourite places to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. What made our stay even more special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming and attentive. A special mention goes to the lovely restaurant manager with short blonde hair and red glasses, who was absolutely wonderful and made us feel especially welcome. We arrived very early in the morning, and although we did not expect to be able to check in so soon, the hotel managed to have our room ready earlier for us, which we really appreciated after our journey. If you want to stay in Oia but prefer to be away from the crowds and noise of the busy centre, Esperas is the perfect choice. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and relaxing, while everything Oia has to offer is still within easy reach. The breakfasts were delicious, and having dinner at the hotel restaurant while watching the famous Santorini sunset was an unforgettable experience. The food, the view and the atmosphere were simply unbeatable. Thank you to the entire Esperas team for making our honeymoon so special and for giving us such an amazing stay. We wish you many more happy guests in the future and would absolutely love to return one day!

Restaurant menu is ok not great Breakfast omelette far too cooked almost like préparées long in advance Staff not so welcoming on the departure in the am unlike the evening staff that was great

Everything! Staff was amazing. Great views. Clean. The pool chairs had great views. Loved our visit!

The location was incredable! Sunsets every night, views beyond comprehension!!!! Our included breakfasts were unbelievably delicious. Every single staff member went above and beyond insuring our happiness!

I wish our private plunge pool was heated. I do wish the hotel pool was heated a bit! Other than that, I can't imagine anything being better!
