Amazing hotel!, very comfortable and great location!

The hotel is in a really great location!. Most of Venice’s main attractions are within good walking distance and the hotel is quite central. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, the shower was also really good!. The staff are very friendly, even the housekeeper we had was very lovely!. The hotel has a few doors on the same side of the street and so you just need to look for the one that says reception but once the hotel will explain where your door is. Overall I can’t fault this place at all, I definitely recommend it!, and would 100% stay here again

Pleasant but beds are rock hard

Good location and wonderful arriving in a water taxi to the hotel jetty. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. Shower was a great temperature and powerful.

The beds were terrible, my entire family struggled as they were so hard, I nearly booked for our entire stay but I would have had to leave as we couldn’t sleep on the concrete beds anymore and were relieved to move on to get a comfortable bed. There was another man always around the reception if he is in line with customer reception area he should learn to smile and not look aloof with an attitude, shame when the lady and another man were very pleasant.

Surprising delightful last minute booking in Venice

5 minutes from the Acaddemia Vaporetto stop, a cosy 3 star that overdelivers. Beautiful lobby, friendly staff and clean rooms with a kettle, a stocked minibar and very hot water. Our room overlooked a small courtyard which was a huge bonus. It is a 10 minute walk to San Marco square, but we locked in a great rate and the slight seclusion was a relief at a very crowded time.

Almost everything was great. Our mini fridge was not working but it was winter so not a huge problem.

Uncomfortable stay

Location was easy to get to from the water taxi. There is a big bridge with stairs that you have to carry suitcases over though.

Most importantly, the listing lies about air conditioning. We spoke to the manager and they said they can only use AC or heat for the entire building, not both. And at this time they had it set to heat. Even though the listing says they provide both. We are hot sleepers and need AC at night, and I purposely only book hotels with AC for this reason. This was a big disappointment, and the manager refused to see our side of the situation and said to just open the windows. The issue is, there are lots of mosquitos in the area due to the canals, so the windows are not an option at night. Needless to say, sleeping here was very uncomfortable. Room is small. There was hair and a small blood smear in the bathroom.

Ideal family getaway in Venice

The location is great, just a 12–15 minute walk from St. Mark’s Square. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was excellent! It was perfect for our family trip to Venice.

Good fall stay in Venice near Accademia

Room was spacious with a large bathroom. Hotel is in optimal location for walking to major sightseeing spots and is very close to the grand canal. Kettle and teas are provided in room along with a couple small snacks. Breakfast for 12 euro per person is a good deal compared with other breakfast options in Venice. Breakfast includes pastries, quiches, meats, cheeses, cereals, and coffee/tea.

The heat couldn’t be adjusted lower than 23 C (73.4 F) in our room despite outside temps in the high 60s. We opened windows and unfortunately ended up with many mosquitoes. Front desk staff wouldn’t help us confirm our 3 am boat pickup for the airport. They seemed very hands off because we didn’t schedule through their own preferred service.

Quite and comfortable stay

The location is perfect, it is quiet yet walkable to all the scenery. The room size is just nice for 3 of us, only thing is a bit tight for the luggages. The air-conditioning is well which is important for the hot days.

The most unprofessional and rude hotel I have ever stayed at.

The receptionist was unprofessional, when we checked in we paid for breakfast, but before the check out day the receptionist texted me and asked for the breakfast payment, I said I paid when I checked in but they didn't believe me and asked for the payment receipt. I said that the payment receipt I left on the table was thrown away by the housekeeping staff and I couldn't find it. I asked them to check the camera at the reception or ask the colleague who did the check in the day I checked in. Then they texted back that they found my payment. I checked in on 8/7 and checked out on 12/7 and on 11/7 at 11am my friend and I were still in the room, the female staff came to clean the room with a very unpleasant face, they didn't say hello and just told me to clean the room, I said you can come back in 15 minutes. and after 15 minutes she came back and pointed at the clock and said why am i still in the room after 15 minutes, i said i haven't finished preparing everything so you can go clean up, then she took the basin containing the cleaning supplies and threw it on the floor with a rude and unpleasant attitude towards us. i have never stayed in a hotel where the housekeeping staff has such a rude attitude. and usually the staff only clean the room when the guest has left the room. from the receptionist to the housekeeping staff ruined our vacation and will never come back here.

The location was good, near the main attractions of Venice. The rooms were fairly small, but had everything we needed and were clean. The front desk staff was super nice and helpful.

The showers were TINY. The A/C wasn't that cold, but cool enough.

Great stay, quiet neighbourhood

Easy access to the hotel by waterbus from the airport. The staff is very responsive and they are helpful when we ask for directions etc. Neightbourhood is quiet and enjoyable compared to the main square.

There is a small fee for the locker room to store luggages which was told shortly before our arrival. But that’s okay as it is easy to access whenever during the day you checked out.

Comfortable and good value for the money and conveniently reachable to everywhere by foot.

The Foresteria is very near to the Accademia bridge. The constant flow of people admiring the romantic views of Santa Maria della Salute from the bridge creates a lively and secure atmosphere, reassuring for guests returning to the hotel at night. It's within 10-20 min to the interesting points and 30 mins to the railway station by foot. A triple room we have had were spacious and comfortable and a roomy wardrope . Thought breakfasts are abundant, additional fruits for a no-carb eater, would be nice.

Grand Canal stay with a fraction of the crowds!

Wow!! Our family of 4 greatly enjoyed our mezzanine style room. Our teens were happy to have their own beds and a more modern stay. We had a lovely courtyard view and the location was absolutely perfect for visiting museums, restaurant options and sitting by the water to enjoy the Grand Canal. Check-in was simple and to our surprise, our room was ready a little ahead of schedule so we didn't have to worry about stowing bags elsewhere. We only wish we had had more time! Even better than expected!

Great location, but let down by small rooms and small inconveniences.

The location was great and the pier right beside the hotel was beautiful in the sun when we arrived. Also very close to Ponte Accademia which was convient for getting the Vaporetto to and from the train station.

The room was smaller than we were expecting and the room above us was consistently noisy all night. We had to ask for our air conditioning to be turned back on as well because it kept turning off and wouldn’t go back on.

Great safe location and comfortable stay

Location is awesome. Very close to the Academia bridge and the water transport stop. There are several eateries nearby and the apartment itself is very clean and area is safe and quiet.

In April, the afternoons are hot and the AC system is centrally switched off. There is no fan either and opening the windows lets the bugs in. So, it gets uncomfortable in the night and I hope they let the guests control their AC systems like the other places around Italy.

Amazing Venice short break

Such a cute location, over a little bridge next to the stunning academia bridge. A minutes walk to a little square. The rooms are so nicely finished too. Attached are photos of the wisteria growing outside one of windows, the hotel foyer area, the pier at the end of the hotel alley. The receptionist staff were all so friendly and jolly. Blown away by this place!

Convenient location for exploring Venice

Foresteria Levi is a charming hotel in an ideal location, right by the Accademia Bridge, making it super convenient for exploring Venice. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, and the hotel’s setting offers a quiet, authentic Venetian feel without being too far from the city’s main attractions. Breakfast was fine. The staff was helpful and welcoming, ready to assist with recommendations and directions around the city.

Next time we would not mind having a bottle of champagne as featured in some of the photos, ;)

Awesome, right in the heart of Venice. Super quality/price

Position: in the heart if Venice, one side in a very typical "calle", the facede on Canal Grande...close to every spot Hygiene: rooms and bathroom clean and not that old as someone could expect from an historical Palace. Prize/Quality: excellent considering the venetian average; Staff: disposable, kind and patient...amazing team. I lost one of my stuff and they found it in the room in a couple of hours. A plus: my room would be confortable for people on wheelchair too

Actually I can't see bad things... The indication about how to reach the hotel should be updated in google...for a tourist it could took a bit more to understand what bridge to be crossed or calle to be walked to arrive to the entrance.

The staff were lively and the position was great. The breakfast was simple but pleasant

The room was small and at the back end of the hotel with no view - I think the fault may lie with booking.com as I thought I had booked a bigger room with a view and ended up with this corner cupboard!!! Probably better to contact the property direct to see what you are getting. No milk in the rooms for tea. Just disappointing that one doesn’t get what you think you have booked and paying a lot for
