Le petit déjeuner est très copieux, l'emplacement est idéal pour s'imprégner de la vie vénitienne, Giorgio est très accueillant et très réactif 🙂

This was such a great place to stay! There was a lovely, very generous breakfast provided, the room was a good size and spotlessly clean, and the location was perfect! Only ten minutes to st Mark’s, but also very close to the water bus stop, making it easy to travel around Venice.
The best part however was our gracious host Giorgio, who went above and beyond. He was very communicative and helpful, even sitting down with us and giving us a map of the city and restaurant recommendations (which were very good). I couldn’t recommend enough!

The location was perfect: despite being close to everything - literally - it was very quiet. The room was simple but big and quite luminous as it is in a high floor and has two windows. It had everything one could possibly need: plenty of closet space, a small but functional and fully equipped kitchen, a proper dining table and chairs and even a washing machine). The shower is small and might be a squeeze for big fellas but is otherwise fine. The bathroom itself was damp most of the time but that is to be expected in Venice. The host was probably the most helpful and likeable guy you will ever meet. He greeted us at the vaporetto station despite our late arrival, gave us practical advice, volunteered information which proved very valuable and even received us in his apartment which was adjacent to the room.
The only reason why our fantastic host Giorgio is not getting a straight 10 is the price. At about 170 Euro per night (roughly the price of a 4 star hotel in New York at the same season), one expects accommodation to be slightly more upscale (not luxurious, but more upscale).
