We have stayed here before. Gino is a great host, we have no hesitation in recommending.

Nice little studio apartment perfect for a couple right in the centre of Etaples. Ideal location for the November Herring Festival with secure on site parking at a nominal charge.

Range of cooking utensils could have been a little better and maybe a kettle rather than, or in addition to, a pod coffee machine.

Superb

Car park was secure at an extra cost (6e) Breakfast was continental and more than adequate. Central to view the town..several places to eat available nearby. Receptionist spoke to us in English after our substandard French attempts!- very pleasant chap. Provided us with a,Usb phone plug. Good value for money

Room a little on small side. Kitchenette had only 1 cup...and only a saucepan to boil water for tea or coffee.

Well placed for our onward journey to Calais. Secure parking, town centre location. Direct access to room. Fridge & hob in room.

Our arrival time fell outside of the usual reception times so we had pre-arranged a later time, which was confirmed by Booking.com. On arrival, reception was locked & closed & there was no answer from the displayed telephone number. We messaged the hotel via the Booking.com app & was advised it was the owner's day of rest but he'd be there at 7pm (a wait of 2 hours for us). Thankfully another resident stepped in & showed us how to operate the automatic check in machine which also dispensed our key. If we'd been advised about this in advance, it would've been no problem but we'd just driven for 7 hours so it was not welcoming. There was no information re breakfast times but we conferred with the owner & he finally reluctantly agreed to provide breakfast for 7.30am. It seems that Booking.com & the hotel have not communicated with each other

Ease of parking on the street (free), seemed a good location near to a square with shops and a couple of bars.

Despite the room having a "no smoking" sign on the door, the room stank of stale tobacco which was very unpleasant. Luckily we only booked 1 night and arrived after 9pm and left before 6.30 am the next morning so we put up with it for 1 night as most of the time was spent asleep. I would have scored the hotel higher if this issue didn't outweigh the good points.

Staff were friendly. Restaurant was closed though but there was an excellent restaurant closeby.

Bed was not comfortable. standards were lower than expected. Location was a little remote.

La chambre d'hôtel était parfaite pour un court séjour, agréablement équipée d'une kitchenette. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil du personnel, la propreté des lieux et la qualité du petit déjeuner. Nous recommandons cet hôtel!

Plutôt bien positionné

Il est dommage de se retrouver dans une chambre où la poubelle n’est pas vidé, d’avoir une chasse d’eau qui ne tient pas, les portes manteaux remplis de rouille, la barre de douche qui ne tient pas … mais bon comme dit le propriétaire : « il suffisait juste de le remettre, c’est seulement une ventouse». Voyageant avec notre chien un supplément nous a été demandé (on l’entend) mais par contre même pas une petite gamelle d’eau nous a été proposé. Réponse du propriétaire : « il y a des bols à disposition dans la cuisine ».

Hôtel bien trop chère en vu de son état ! L’ensemble et extrêmement archaïque ( porte salle de bain qui ne fermer pas car la cloison et trop épaisse, impossible de régler la tête thermostatique , mitigeur vasque qui ne tiens pas, moquette pleine de tache ) en bref l’hôtel et rester bloquer dans les années 90 sans la moindre evolution. Ou très peu. Dommage car bonne emplacement, bon petit déjeuner et Gino et tous simplement gentil et serviable. Je pense qu’avec quelque travaux tout pourrer rentrer dans l’ordre !
