Comfortable, modern hotel in a good location

A comfortable, modern hotel in an excellent location, close to the beach, as well as the shops and restaurants of the town. I arrived during the excitement of the Beach Cross championships, and the hotel was a nice, quiet refuge, despite being close to all the action. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was straightforward.

Continental breakfast a bit pricey at 9euros

There is no parking at the hotel. Plenty of parking outside the hotel and around but this is council run and you have to pay for it. 9 hours parking=€11.40, but free from 1800 to 0900. Seafront gets busy and finding parking space can be very difficult.

Lovely place, lovely emplacement, the owner and family are welcoming.

The emplacement is very good, good access to shops and amenities.

There was no Fan or Air condition in the room. Although there are big windows that let the air in. But when it's hot the heat get to you.

Ok for sleeping, but not for spending time in.

Breakfast was ok, but an extra cost. High for bread and cheese and coffee. Good lift to 3rd floor.

No kettle in the room, or cups and coffee or tea. No bedside table. No towels in the room for the first evening.

Very clean and comfy room. Nothing I did not like as far as the room was concerned. Very comfortable bed. Very good Wifi too.

We could hear our neighbours in the bathroom as if they were next to us. But they were not that noisy anyway

Older hotel close to sea and main street.

This is an older character hotel, in a good position with a nice breakfast room and adequate breakfast. The staff were good, the bed really comfortable and view from the room was OK. Could see the sea. The price per room is to high considering the age and size of room.

No hand basin in toilet, the shower head was wrong, my wife couldn't reach it and you can't leave it in position as shower hits the wall and not you, needs a proper shower head holder. The shower itself was good lots of flow and even temperature. Decor was a bit old fashioned. Balcony was ok but 1 large chair much to big and 1 plastic chair perfect size, buy another plastic chair. Could do with net curtain in morning, open curtain gives no privacy.

La décoration est très belle, l'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal (vue sur la mer, à deux pas du centre), le personnel est accueillant et le petit déjeuner était très bon avec du choix.

L'emplacement Le choix au petit déjeuner

Un peu bruyant : on entend le volet qui se ferme dans les chambres voisines, une personne qui tousse, la douche ... Le manque d'un plateau de courtoisie : c'est possible mais avec un supplément de 5€. L'heure du départ un peu juste 10h30 : 11h / 11h30 serait appréciable surtout les joies de mauvais temps...

Idéal pour des vacances au calme.

L'établissement est calme et familial. L'emplacement est idéal entre centre ville et plage. La literie est de bonne qualité. Le petit déjeuner est variés. L'hôtel est propre. L'accueil est agréable et le propriétaire reste toujours disponible pour ses clients.

Proximité immédiate de la mer et de la ville.

L’hôtel a été rénové. La déco des chambres est plutôt réussie. Le lit est très confortable. La chambre était très propre. La vue depuis l’immense terrasse est bluffante. Les parties communes, couleurs et entrée bien refaits aussi. Super l’ascenseur. Pratique. Belle salle de petit déjeuner. Le petit dej du matin a les fondamentaux pour ceux qui mangent sale ou sucré. C’est pas ouf mais ça fait le travail. L’hôte est très sympathique. Accueil gentil et pro. Toujours un petit mot pour nous. L’hôtel est hyper bien situé.

Quelques bémols. Le premier le plus ennuyeux pour nous est la taille de la salle de douche. Plutôt un placard avec douche. Les joints du carrelage n’ont pas été refaits. Les toilettes de petite taille donnent directement dans la chambre. Peu d’intimité. Enfin la fenêtre donne sur un réverbère qui laisse passer la lumière la nuit. Il faudrait mettre des rideaux occultants en l’absence de volets. Pour autant, avec ces dernières améliorations, un hôtel où on pourrait retourner car il y a beaucoup de points positifs.

Très bon emplacement

En ce mois de novembre, les places de parking autour de l'hôtel sont gratuites. L'emplacement ne pouvait être meilleur puisqu'il se trouve à 200m de la plage. La rue est calme. Très bon accueil à notre arrivée.

La chambre n'était assez propre à mon goût, il y avait des moutons au niveau des petites tables qui servent de tables de nuit, de la poussière sur les prises électriques et très salle au niveau du côté extérieur de la parois de douche.

Accueil charmant, localisation parfaite, grande terrasse avec vue sur mer, hall d'accueil et salle de déjeuné très lumineuse. Bon rapport prix/prestations.

Manque de séparation entre les terrasses. Pas assez de prises de branchements. Rafraichissement de la décoration à prévoir. Pas de machine à café dans les chambres et petit déjeuner assez léger.

Super emplacement pour la proximité de la mer et de la rue commerçante. Petit hotel sympa pour une nuit.

Le sol dans les chambres. Etant donné que nous sommes en bord de mer et de plage, le balatum dans les chambres est très dérangeant, car même si on fait attention à bien essuyer les chaussures, le sable au sol est très désagréable au sortir de la douche et avant le coucher. Peut-être penser à un tapis style celui du couloir. Ce serait un petit plus qui serait fort apprécié.
