strong sewage smell

Location

We had two rooms, and when we opened the doors to both rooms, a very strong sewage smell came out. The smell was overwhelming and made us feel sick. Because of this, we could not rest or sleep properly that night.

The property is old and tired but it’s super cheap catering for a layover for euro disney travel. Did the job with Burger King next door.

great place for an overnight stop.

Convenient location and local amenities, Staff were helpful and polite, room was perfect for an overnight stop onroute to Nantes after crossing on Le Shuttle. Bed was firm but comfortable, Parking was fine. Brasserie 'La Houblonnière' on the Carrefour retail park was excellent and very convenient for this hotel - highly recommended

We were in room 3, the shower has a leak from the bar mixer wall plate and the dripping noise kept me awake, even with the bathroom door shut. The floor was dirty in the room ( wood effect lino needed a really good mopping) my feet were black underneath after I had cleaned them once I walked back int the bedroom. There had been a water leak into the room from the bathroom previously and this had not been cleaned up properly as the lino was black by the bed where this had been. It would have been convernit if there had been power supplied on both sides of the bed. Being on the ground floor there is limited privacy as the windows were clear and people sat outside them to smoke, so had to close the window and draw the curtain. Static cling patterned/frosted film over the lower half of the window would have increased privacy massively, whilst allowing natural light in.

Basic price so wasn't expecting much but definatley exceeded

English TV but not the end of the world, after all I was I France ! :)

It was comfortable enough for the price and well situated.

The bedding was clean and the blind kept the light out. It had a tv and two paper cups for use. There was plenty of places to eat in the area.

You could hear 'everything' in the room above which was a little embarrassing for my 13 year old daughter. There was a family with small children along the corridor who took some settling but you couldn't hear them when you were in your room.

Sufficient location that ticked all the boxes

This hotel accommodation was just an expected. It had good reception and friendly staff also the rooms with a reasonable standard. Regarding the bathroom facilities in the shower was excellent.

Nothing in this property was not to my liking. Everything advertised was exactly as expected when we arrived. The parking was adequate and nearby. There was nothing to dislike.

Supermarkets and petrol station nearby, very comfortable mattress and bedding and very good shower!! More facilities than expected for the price: desk, wardrobes, TV and plenty plugs. Late check in was possible, which is a big bonus compared to other hotels in the area.

Accueil très sympathique, chambre agréable et propre, bon petit déjeuner . L’hôtel est idealement situé, proche du centre ville, grandes surfaces autour de l'hôtel, ainsi que de la restauration rapide et un restaurant à 5mn à pied. Nous reviendrons !

L'accueil, le petit-déjeuner très varié et a volonté. La chambre très propre. Douche bien chaude avec de la pression, pas toujours le cas dans certains hôtels. Parking assez grand. Hôtel bien placé .
