Amazing view of the Lake, when taking the room with balcony

Location is in the center close to many shops and the Lake view is amazing to have.

Great location.. good value of money. Will definitely stay again.

Central location.. many restaurants nearby. You can see flying Santa from the balcony during Christmas market. Davide was exceptional. He was genuinely interested to have a real conversation rather than cosmetic discussion.

Heating only works from 6 p.m. .. that would mean cold afternoons during winter. Once heating was not working and no staff was available to help.

Wonderful unique building. Very clean and welcoming. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony and lake view which was so lovely! It is located in a perfect spot-close to train station, buses, the Christmas market was right across the street. Great little shops and restaurants beside it.

Would stay here again

I stayed for 2 nights in October. My room had a balcony and looked out onto the lake. Nice room with very high ceilings. The room had what I needed. Comfy bed, but pillows could be better. The location was excellent, a short walk to the train station. Bus #201 took us to Chateau de Chillon one way, and took us out to the vineyards the other way. Street out front was a bit noisy but was quiet during the night. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Was a bit expensive for what it offered, but it's like that everywhere in Switzerland.

We had a very nice time in this hotel. The belle epoque style of the room with great view of Lac Leman ( lake Geneva) is priceless. The property is in a very good location… close to the train station, bus stops and the lake. Breakfast is excellent! Property is clean! Best of all, we want to thank Dave for making our stay memorable.

We could have use additional pillow but every time we remember to request one its very late in the night. We normally leave early and arrive very late.

At the price we paid in shoulder season it is too expensive.

Location and view was excellant. The main staff member was very helpfull.

Breakfast choice was very poor for the price range of the room. There did not seem to be many people staying there though we got one of the last rooms available?? Only 6-8 people for breakfast each morning. The room was in bad need of renovation. At the price we paid it is too expensive. However because of it's balcony views, esplanade position, close to rail and one helpful staff member I would rate it as seven out of ten.

Located in the middle of the city right on the lake. Bus stop across the street. Very convenient to everything. Large selection of restaurants nearby.

Unforgettable stay

The lake view is just amazing. The hotel is in the center, 2min walking from the train station and right in front of the boat. It's a 3 star hotel, but very nice

Ideal position with superb views of Lake Geneva. Charming old building that he’s been run apparently by the same family for over 100 years.

Very dusty and dirty, not comfortable staying during the summer as the room was stuffy and hot like in an oven.

David was so welcoming & explained everything we needed to know about our room, restaurants & things to do in Montreux. He organised a tourist card for us & explained how to catch the bus back from Chateau Chillon. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you so much. We loved our holiday in Switzerland.

Great views and great location with fantasy

Was upgraded to a lovely lake view. Beds were very comfortable. Spoke with the owners and they were nothing but helpful. Breakfast was delicious and well worth the price. Would go back with zero hesitation. You can see how management takes pride in ownership.

We stayed in 5 different hotels, and this was probably our favourite hotel in our entire trip!

Location was amazing, David the manager was very warm and welcoming, our room was great, the service was excellent, and we had a lovely time at our stay. The breakfast was also quite tasty, David made great scrambled eggs. Above all, having good quality tap water available was amazing!

The only thing we can say as improvement is that the pillows were a bit too soft and flat, we needed extra pillows to sleep comfortably but even they were too soft. It would be better to have thicker/more firm pillows to allow for a good sleep without requiring too many pillows in a single room.

Stay in style in the city centre with a fantastic view

We only stayed for one night but everything was good! Especially the view. It was exceptional. The hotel is old but it gives it its unique vibe. It has quite a lot of style and everything was nevertheless very clean and worked well. Staff were friendly. Thank you very much! We would come back again.

Superb

The staff was amazing! Every day, they asked about our plans on the way out and offered suggestions. Every night on the way in, they would ask us about our day! They were amazing. We had wine for the room, and they gave us wine glasses. The staff was the best part of the stay.

Nothing really. The hotel is older and some of the plugs were hard to use with newer adapters, but we made it work. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the location was ideal. We had absolutely no complaints about our stay.
