When we checked in we had to show our passports My husband had 400 dollars in Euro folded in his passport and lefe money on the counter I immediately went to the counter and the woman said it wasnt there..workers were comimg in and out along with people checking in..I asked her tocheck the camers and she refused saying we're not like that..I saw the money on the counter while he was showing her his passport..She was very rude

We were on the third floor and had a nice balcony that looked over the lake. Lots of shopping and dining options near the hotel. Easy to grab transit or Taxi/Uber as well. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Montreaux.

WOW where dol start! This hotel was such a great find. Booked a few months ago, it was the best price I could find (cheapest)l knew we would be out all day exploring, didn't want to pay a fortune for somewhere to sleep. Easy to find, short walk from Station. Pleasant lady checked us in on reception. The hotel is an old quaint, historical building which I loved. Room was on 2nd floor at the back, very clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable, with the bed linen being fantastic quality and the pillows were the comfiest I have put my headon for a very long time (trying to find similar to buy now) not slept so well in ages. The shower pressure was brilliant and piping hot water at all times. Due to some early starts, we only had breakfast twice out of the 5 days (breakfast available from 7am) For 11 Swiss Francs, you seriously can't complain it is continental, help yourself to as much as you want. Yes there are no meats or sliced cheese, but remember you are only paying 11 Swiss Francs. There were boiled eggs,good selection of cereals, breads, croissants and my favourite, pancakes with maple syrup. Location is right on the front, 2 minute walk to Freddy Mercury statue, 10 min to Casino and the Queen Studio Experience. Plugs in the room are of course Swiss, but my European 2 pin plug worked, also USB socket in the lamp shelf by the bed. managed to read through the negative ones, booked the cheapest price hotel but wanted the Ritz in return. 100% would stay again!

The location is good, overlooking Lake Geneva, lots of restaurants, near the train station. Breakfast was good (Self Service} but even better if they will offer some fresh fruits and cold meats too. Receptionist is not very friendly when we arrived. They let us leave our luggages after check out. Comfortable bed, spacious. The shower curtain doesn’t help stopping the water coming out, we had to dry the floor after taking a shower.

What a great place to spend a single night in Montreal. Close to the train, and right on the lake. An unbeatable location. Plentiful breakfast at a reasonable price (for Switzerland). Friendly and helpful staff with a great sense of humour.

Perfect location with everything walking distance. We booked a room with a balcony and the views were amazing! There was an air con unit in the room which was greatly appreciated. The rooms are a little tired but the beds were comfy and the service was great.

Our bathroom had a very strong sewer smell that didn't go away and made the rest of the room smell if you left the door open. The room was a bit dingy and older but seemed to be clean. And they had a portable AC unit in there, sounded like a white noise machine but kept the room cool. The hotel was close to the bus lines and train station and is a great location to explore Montreux on foot.

Parc et Lac’s location can’t be beat, it’s right in front of Lake Geneva and is a few min walk from Montreux train station. However, you’ll either need to take the stairs or elevator to the street below to get to the hotel. The receptionist at the hotel was also very friendly and the room itself has good amenities like soft towels, kettle, tea/coffee and hair dryer. My main complaint though is that the portable air conditioner was woefully inadequate, couldn’t cool the room despite the small size. It was unbearably hot and very difficult to sleep, thankfully it was just for one nite. Also, there was no laundry in the bldg, you would need to send it out in the morning if you wanted it done.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed linen was nice and clean. Bathroom was clean and towels were very soft and clean. Location is great. Only drawback is there is no attendant after 8 pm so you must remember the code given to you at the time of check in , in order to go in and out of the hotel at night or you would be stuck outside. I strongly recommend that the hotel should display an emergency 24 hr number on their main door outside if guests get stuck outside for any reason past 8 pm. Also, there was no clear communication to us on how to check in past 8 pm so we had to make sure we reached the hotel in a hurry while the attendant was still present. Other than that the stay and the room was great.

This hotel is fine but not particularly inspiring. It’s one step between a love motel In Asia and a Hampton Inn. It’s just not high end but totally fine for a night. I was here during the jazz festival and off to the airport the next day so I just needed a somewhat affordable place and this was it but I wouldn’t stay here again as a first choice. The front desk woman is awesome though.

A neat, clean three star property. What I didn’t like was that the hotel had no intercom and no one at the reception after 7 or so in the evening. That is a safety hazard too and not great for me as a guest either.

Best location for the montreaux jazz festival in 2025. Lovely staff for check in and help. Loved the deck view of lake. Walked to get fruit sandwiches and enjoyed our lunch on deck. Only suggestion is upgrade bathrooms.

The room is fair size but the air conditioning unit is rather small and noisy. The pillows are hard. The room has no fridge or safe box. The towels are old and been around for a long time. I would rate it less than a two stars hotel in North America standard. Smelly washroom. The price is outrageous. We paid over $700 Canadian dollar per night.

We have NEVER written a bad review about a property. Here it goes. MOLD in all areas of the bathroom. No Air Conditioning. TV did not originally work. Broken lamp. Grit on the floor. Please do not book this hotel EVER. A great location for the Jazz Fest, but that it it! PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY if you have another choice.

The Hotel looks not so inviting, but the Room and Bed were very nice, the only thing missing was a refrigerator (as Montreux gets hot in summer) If you come for the MJF its ideal, just a cross the road!

Honestly, trying to find a good acceptable rate for hotel around this area to see Genève (Geneva) and Château de Chillon.. its acceptable.. sometimes below average. This is due to my room being on the top floor which has this weird, bad smell that I cant describe (not the paint smell from active renovations on the stairs (which is very inconvenient at the time). The room itself (for one person) is okay, it was really hot around June timeframe here; there was an portable A/C but the 17c setting did not make the room cold at all, actually producing more heat in the room. I had to open the window door, but the pigeons and other birds making annoying noises that you cannot sleep at all (especially early in the morning@0530). The bed/pillow is decent. The toilette ceiling (its a studio) has dead mosquito spatters. The location itself is alright, as its about 6-7 mins from Gare de Montreux (you have to go down and up the steep stairs, there is a elevator but lots of people takes it). Overall, the price paid for this hotel is generous. I feel it can be a little less money and breakfast, I can only assume is not that great based on my experience in the stay at the hotel. The water from the Sink is off center and you could lose valuables or even a toothbrush down the hole (no mesh guard).
