The size of the bathroom plus toilet is too small. The sensor light in the bathroom went off before I finished my shower.

Boutique Hotel with charme, great location and fantastic italian restaurant

Great location. Good value for money (Swiss terms). Room was well redone and spacious. Excellent bathroom. View to the back was disappointing. Excellent italian restaurant downstairs, which has a good reputation with locals. Downside of the good restaurant was the kitchen smell throughout the building and especially in rooms towards the back/courtyard. The reception area is very cramped, but receptionist exceptionally helpful. Covered parking across the road at CHF 35/day rather pricey

Perfect base for exploring Montreux

Everything - great location and warm reception on arrival. Able to check in early and got upgraded to a lakeside view. Room was clean, warm and comfortable. Would recommend 100% Free travel card was a bonus and loved our trips on the various trains & furnicular railways around the area.

Perfect hotel

The hotel is perfectly situated, it's beautiful inside and out, we upgraded to the suite at the top of the hotel which had an incredible view and was spacious, we had a wonderful stay, staff were so helpful and lovely and the restaurant was perfect. Thank you so much

Would stay again

It was a good match for cost. The receptionist was a “5 star”. Made us feel welcome, acknowledged us every time she saw us as if we were reoccurring guests.

The coffee was not good. The petit-dejeuner was overpriced for what was available.

Fantastic location in the heart of Montreaux. 5 Min walk from Bus Stop. Value for money. Room was clean and spacious. Nice modern bathroom. Healthy breakfast foods. Comfy bed. I had dinner in the adjacent restaurant for dinner - suberb with great atmosphere! You must make a reservation.

Love it.

Very good location. Not too far from the train station. The staff were super friendly, they are definitely one of the reasons I will come back to Montreux! I spent 2 weeks in Switzerland and this is the best hotel during my stay.

It was great (if we forget about what I didn’t like)! I highly recommend for anybody who wants a stay in Montreux.

It was good, well located, clean, with exceptional staff that are very polite, always smiling and very helpful!

I didn’t like the fact that there is no safe in the room we were in and the need to provide the information of my credit card (number and ccv) for safe deposit! The hotel should invest in a machine that keep the card for the deposit without needing anybody read the secret numbers of the card.

Wonderful, well located, clean and neat boutique hotel.

It was very neat and well set out. Staff were very welcoming and the location was great with views over lake Genena.

Bed was a little hard and the kitchen didn’t have much to cook with but enough to get by. It wouldn’t deter me from staying again though.

Definitely recommend this apartment in heart of Montreux

Clean with small kitchenette that had all we needed to cook a meal. Breakfast was included and had a decent variety of foods. Staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Wonderful position.

Great to have lift to 3rd floor but then had to climb another 3 floors to our room. But we are in very old buildings so we shouldn’t be surprised.

Lovely front desk staff.

Tv initially not working. At my suggestion, batteries in remote replaced, fixed the on/off. However the channels were restricted, no English language and not as in the guide. Technical help was coming but not before we left (2 days)

Fabulous hotel in a great location

Great small hotel just across the road from Lake Geneva & close to everything (the railway station, restaurants, supermarkets, shops etc). Friendly helpful staff, clean, comfortable bed, great high pressure shower. A really lovely place to stay!

The hotel was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The location was convenient, but what truly stood out was the staff — the lady at the front desk was by far the friendliest and most helpful person we encountered during our entire 5-week trip across Europe. She made us feel incredibly welcome and went out of her way to assist with anything we needed.

There’s no air conditioning in the room, but a fan was provided, so fortunately, it wasn’t too hot during our stay.

The staff was amazing. We stayed in the 3-bedroom apartment there and it was perfect. The location is about 8 minute walk from the train station and was perfectly located. We loved their restaurant there as well.

Hidden Gem in Montreux

La Rouvenaz was probably our favorite hotel we stayed in over the 2 weeks we traveled through Munich, Salzburg, Lucerne, and Montreux. It is very quaint, well appointed, clean, and conveniently located. The staff were helpful and friendly and the restaurant below/attached was fantastic. The view of Lake Geneva from our hotel balcony was sublime and we enjoyed watching the sunset with a bottle of wine we brought up from the attached La Rouvenaz restaurant after dinner. The breakfast was also well worth it. I also really appreciated the nice floor fans available in the rooms- it helped with air circulation but also with white noise to help sleep!

Nothing to like about , probably the restaurant which I have no tried

My trip was not planned, in a crowded season by a quick search among few available I found this. I was mislead by AC which apparently is only in a junior suite. The room give was overlooking a closed i internal roof with all ac unit blowing hot air in and quite dirty, so no chance to open the window ( which had stickers to avoid people looking in. A portable fan is the only way to get air moving, which being 38 degrees out would not make any difference. I asked to change there was no ability the next day while asking to waive the cancellation of the second night ( was going to move obviously) or at least half of it , the GM think her name is Jane replied NO and offered me the suite at extra cost. Giving me a lecture on how it was a non refundable, forgetting that there is an option and exemption which can be done by management depending on the situation. Obviously her income is more important than the health of her guests. I checked out and moved to a better hotel. They might acknowledge my complain and regret my i was not happy , I regret choosing that hotel

Not quite as we expected but lovely staff.

Close to lake front and handy for their restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean room. Just across the road from Freddie Mercury’s statue which everyone wants to see. We loved the lakeside walk way although there was so much mess left from the Jazz Festival the week before- spoiled the atmosphere. Next door to Laduree- yum!

Felt it was misrepresented in its photographs, made to look like there is an accessible big terrace area but it isn’t accessible. Didn’t realise it was so tightly packed into the street at such a busy spot. The restaurant below let people smoke on the street right in front which wafted up to our room. Doesn’t have own parking and cost us nearly £70 to park for 2 nights in the nearby parking which we were told was the cheapest by the hotel. Quite basic breakfast but fresh.

VERY pleasant stay with great staff and clean, nice rooms!

The room was very nice, nicely sized, modern bathroom and had everything needed. Appreciate the carafe of water too. I traveled with a dog and upon arrival there was a dog bed and bowls in the room, i didn't even have to ask for it! Very attentive staff! breakfast was great also! Definitely recommended!

Fabulous stay at La Rouvenaz

We stayed in the Suite Panoramic and it was a beautiful room with a wonderful view. Our children were in standard rooms and they were functional rooms, clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant food was also very good with a wide selection.

Perfect base by the lake

La Rouvenaz was perfect for our two night stay in Montreux before heading to Zermatt. Clean, comfy and conveniently located right near the river and a short walk from the station (make sure to take the street lift down the side of the BCV building if you have luggage). We spent the evenings walking along the river with fresh scooped Movenpick and during the day took the scenic train to Maison Cailler for a fun chocolate factory tour and Gruyere for some cheese tasting and medieval exploration.

Location, public lift at the bottom of the street made for an easier access to the train station, excellent restaurant next door with your namesake but independent,rooms clean and having a lift which was great having even small bags

Street below tended to be rather noisy as the restaurant closed up at night with bottles etc being thrown into bins
