Bright, new building with comfortable room and nice balcony with good views..

1. Process for I.d. verification to obtain access code was convoluted. Booking.com sent me a n email to which I replied with copy of I.d. but VA did not receive so I had to call VA separately on arrival to clear up the situation and get access code. 2. Africans loitering all day and night around the car park, side streets and train station made me feel unsafe especially at night. 3. My room was extremely hot! Despite the high temperatures, hallway windows were locked closed all night and most of the day so heat was trapped inside the upper floors.

Das Hotel war im Zentrum am Bahnhof aber war nicht laut, das Zimmer war sauber und relativ gross. Es gab eine Klimatisierung. Die Kitchenette war gut.

Es gab kein Personal zu finden. Ich habe am Samstag Abend angerufen, niemand hat nie geantwortet oder zurück angerufen, obwohl es geschrieben ist diese Nummer für Notfall anzurufen. Ich wollte fragen, wie können wir den Wellness Bereich eintreten, da unser Password für das Zimmer nicht funktionierte. Jemand von zentraler Nummer( nicht die Nummer die überall geschrieben war) hat geantwortet : eine privates Unternehmen ist zuständig für Wellness Bereich und sie konnte nur die Telefonnummer geben. Niemand hat natürlich auch auf diese Nummer nicht geantwortet. Meine Frage ist :wieso ist Wellnes und Schwimmbad zu den Highlights vom Hotel erwähnt und dann ist dieser Bereich gesperrt? Wir haben keine Hilfe oder Unterstützung diesbezüglich erhalten. Es ist Schade und scheint wie ein Betrug. Bitte vom Booking das Wellness entfernen von den Services die zur Verfügung stehen. Auch im Zimmer im Merkblatt für das Hotell war nichts über Wellness erwänht. Dass es kein Personal gab macht den ganzen Aufenthalt unpersönlich. Überall gab es Passwords einzugeben. Ein alter Mann war im Sofa sitzend als wir draussen am Abend ging und dann 2-3 Stunden später immer noch da, war schlafend auf dem Sofa. Niemand hat sich mit ihm beschäftigt, ob es ihm gut geht. Oder doch aber wer wusste? Ich meine nur es geht nicht, dass niemand da anwesend ist.

Great location. Clean. Better than the pictures

The location is good. Very close to the city center, next to the train station; the surroundings are fine, there are always people in the streets and we felt safe at any time of the day. For someone traveling by train it is ideal. The room was bright and big with sofa, armchair, table and chairs. The bed was very confortable. It was very quiet and warm. The access with a digit code worked well and was very convenient. The entrance hall was very bright, nice and welcoming.

The check-in process. First bad experience: receiving a phishing message which included my name, my booking number, Booking.com logo and telling me that my reservation would expire if I did not go through the process whithin 24h. I entered my credit card info because I thought the hotel needed it in case there were expenses in the room (mini bar) or damages. Then, the following day the bank contacted me because there had been a suspicious transaction of 1250 euros. The bank voided my credit card 1 day before traveling which was very bad news and I started thinking the room I had booked was a scam from the beginning: I would arrive at my destination and won't find any hotel. Especially since it was a contactless check-in and I didn't receive any information about how to access the building until the last minute. The bad experience continued when, on the day of my arrival, I received an email asking me to take a picture of my passport to check-in and learnt I couldn't access the room before 3pm. My cell data don't work abroad and I would have appreciated receiving requests 1 or 2 days in advance, before I was abroad. I think it would been easier and less stressful if after the reservation on booking.com I had received an email explaining the check-in process: "you will receive an email at and once we have verified your identity you will receive an access code to the building and to your room. We won't ask you for your credit card information". Also, on another note, which is a detail, it would be good to have more shampoo/shower gel/soap for 2 nights and 2 persons.
