Creative concept. Would consider staying again but technology issues are HUGE problem.

Bed confortable.

Check in did not work. Technology horrible. If not for a very kind stranger who phoned for us, we never would have gotten in. Another family having the exact same issues the following evening. Also, no AC and it was VERY hot.

Ok hotel in central Vevey

The location is good, close to the lake, but being just by the station also meant we had the drug dealers around the hotel 24/7. They have a parking for the hotel, but there are other parking a close by which are much cheaper.

We had expected an apartment but it’s an ordinary hotel room. No sink and no table/chairs if you want to eat. No possibilities to cook. And no view or balcony. We also had a bad check in experience and had to put a ridiculously high deposit for the dog (500 chf).

Lovely place to stay- but the self catering side is hard work

STUDIO APARTMENT WITH TERRACE. We were on the 5th floor with a terrace side-facing the lake offering lovely views. Nicely decorated in contemporary style. Excellent bed and mattress - super king sized and slept well. Fantastic walk-in shower with a huge square shower head and separate 'microphone'. Communal kitchen with several hobs and ovens with pots and pans. Laundry room with washing machines and dryers so you don't have to pack so many clothes- and there's an iron with ironing board in the room. The location was great, just a few minutes walk from the lake-shore. Although above the train station, the noise wasn't that bad and didn't disturb us. Aldi just a 7 min walk to stock up on stuff, with a handy coop in the train station to pick up some freshly baked essential croissants in the mornings.

The pics of the actual room are never shown (in any bookings) which I find misleading and annoys me as the room we received was smaller than the one shown in the pics. The quality of the furnishings and room are top-notch, but the small appliances like the coffee machine, kettle and iron were really bad. We chose this accommodation so we could do some self catering to manage our budget, but; we found using the facilities in our room quite hard work. There's just not enough space just to do basic things like making a coffee and preparing some croissants. Talking of making coffee- the machine provided is an actual espresso machine- lovely idea, but not practical in this tiny environment especially as no knock-out box was provided which made emptying the grouper very fiddly and messy- making coffee was just a nightmare with this machine, a Nespresso pod machine with frother would have been so much more practical. An ice-box in the fridge would have been nice for those essential gin & tonics. A dust pan and brush was provided, but a broom would have been welcome as we found ourselves walking on crumbs. The table on the terrace was just too small and some sort of canopy would have been welcome to shelter from the sun and the odd rain shower. A few more hangers would have been welcome- a common complaint of mine of all hotels. It seems that the self-catering side of this accommodation wasn't very well thought out- seems like it was designed by accountants trying to save money rather than designed by real people for the user in mind. Trying to wash up your few things after making a simple breakfast was hard work as you had to use the basin in the bathroom in which you couldn't plug. VISION: I'm happy to offer my services as a user-consultant to correct the things you got so badly wrong.

It was in an excellent location, so close to the train! And close to Vevey attractions as well. It was so clean and tidy- Small, but had exaclty what I needed and had amazing details like a robe, lots of shelves, and glassware.

Good stay for short and efficient trip.

Good location and room, although it feels a little bit less safe entering the hotel entering code with some people on the street, with lack of hotel people on sight. Suitable for short and efficient trip, since you lose no time for check-in and out.

I had breakfast included, but until today not clear to me where I could get it. There was restaurant linked to hotel but this was only as of 8 o'clock, which is very late if you're there for business reasons. Nobody to easily ask, since there are no hotel people visible at least.

Cleanliness 10/10. Also, the cleaners where very kind.

Not having store luggage despite saying they do. The confusion of 3 emails on check in day with 3 different apartments and codes… I was wandering around with my xl suitcase to find out which one was the right apartment. The apartment actually doesn’t have a kitchen. Just a microwave and no plates or cutlery, just cups, teaspoons and glasses. You cannot have plates or cutlery unless you wanna pay a penalty fee. The area: squatters outside selling drugs. Entry: not accesible, 5 steps no handrail (not helpful considering guests bring luggage!). Bathroom: you mean bath closet. Ridiculously tiny. The only good thing here is cleanliness and the quality of the towels.

Outside of the place there are many dealers, they are not doing anything bad and the locals said there is no connection to any crime, however you feel uncomfortable especially when the stores around are closed. Another point about the room is that some things are worn off and you feel someone else was there before, not a surprise but not nice to have it top of mind

staff are most of the time unavailable. i stayed for six nights and paid 225CHF for parking. I couldn’t return the key because the building is not accessible after I finished my stay. they sent me an email threatening me if I don’t return the parking key they will issue a fine to me!! it’s ridiculous

The property was beyond clean. So organized for your stay. Overall was so comfortable in our apartment. The bathroom was new and so clean.

only think I suggest is including another mirror in the room. it’s hard to get ready in the bathroom standing when putting makeup on. also it’s nice to see how you look before walking out the door. Also it was wonderful having a coffee machine with the amount we paid it would have been nice to start us off with some coffee packets or coffee in general. It was the weekend and being new to the twin a lot of stores were closed. but again overall everything was very nice thank you.

The area around the train station is littered with all these young men (immigrants) hangingn around day & night ...really destroys tge experience and the safe feeling that is Switzerland.
