Easy booking and communication with host. The room was very clean. Excellent location, 6 min walk from the train station. I would come back when the temperatures are cooler.
Missing floor towel in the bathroom. It was very hot and there is no AC in the building, but there was a very big fan so that helped a bit. As written elsewhere, the bed is high and there is no lift so that’s not appropriate for people with mobility issues.

Fabulous location, nice bright room.
Wish there was more choice of tea than chamomile.
Some people may struggle taking large suitcases up the stairs. No reception area as such but we did not have any issues with the information whatsapped to us. Enjoyed our stay.

Guest House Le Charlot is very conveniently located, close to the train station and a variety of restaurants, and it offers a beautiful view of the lake. The room size was great for two people and included all the main necessities.
Although the room had the main necessities, many of them were in poor condition. The fan was falling apart, the fridge kept leaking water, and the bathroom bin was rusted. Additionally, we could not use the overhead shower or the handheld one separately, as both ran at the same time. I’m not sure why these relatively low-cost improvements have not yet been addressed.
