Excellent hotel with beautiful views of the lake. Well worth paying extra for the view! Staff were friendly and helpful and recommended several things for us to do and places to eat. Train up the mountain is a must.

This hotel welcomes you with a luxurious old world feel!! So close to the train station (literally across the street …) and right on the lake. It was easy to walk along the promenade and take public transportation to different nearby villages. The room was super clean and had a beautiful view of lake Geneva. The little balcony with table and chairs and Nespresso machine in the room was the icing on the cake :). Breakfast had a nice variety which included healthy options as well. What stood out the most was the concierge and staff that worked at the hotel. They were super helpful in finding and recommending things to do to make the most of the stay, even calling ahead ro a nearby vineyard to make sure they had space for us for a last minute tasting. Then helping us with the trains there and back. Overall we can’t recommend this hotel enough and would stay here again!

The hotel is awesome, nice spacious rooms. Conveniently located 100m from train station; good access to public transportation and restaurants and shopping; pleasant staff; many amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very nice, and the breakfast area is spacious and beautifully designed. The breakfast and reception staff are friendly and helpful, which made the stay pleasant. However, the room had an unpleasant odor, likely due to the age of the building. We also had dinner at the restaurant, where unfortunately the staff provided almost no service. Our room faced the train station, which made it quite noisy during our stay, though it is very convenient if you are traveling by train.

We had the best stay here during the Freddie Mercury days in September. It’s conveniently located right across the train station and the bus stop is also very close. There are delicious food options within walking distance and a grocery store. Rooms were clean and quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed the balcony overlooking the lake. Breakfast buffet had a wide range and was delicious. Dinner was better than other restaurants around the area. Complimentary beverages in the fridge were a huge plus and were refilled daily. Wonderful property, staff, and location. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

Well renovated historic hotel, now a part of Marriott family. Keeps the flavor of old times. Lakeview room balcony provides amazing site from the balcony. The restaurant is not bad for the dinner. Two days spent at the hotel were easy and undemanding.

Lovely view from our balcony and the restaurant terrace. Quiet room other than noise from floor above. Very soft bed. Poor bathroom design with unsafe shower over bath arrangement and trip hazard. Staff giggled when I mentioned the bathroom - apparently most have the trip step into the bathroom! Very convenient for the station. Fab food if expensive in 45

Location is great and the rooms are clean but pretty basic, not even a coffee machine in the room. The reception staff are polite but very slow and there is always a wait for the elevators as they are also used by hotel staff to transport linen etc. Definitely not value for money, at that price range you expect a lot more.

Receptionist was warm and welcoming, and provided clear and helpful hotel information during check-in. All the hotel staff we encountered were professional, but also friendly and approachable.
