Nice hotel in an amazing location

Located in the old town (15 mins walk from main station). Easy check in and room was simple but comfortable. I could hear occupants of other rooms, but it wasn't unbearably loud.

Disappointed in the hotel and the room - very small.

Location opposite the bus stop into Montreux. Shower was ok and plenty of hot water

Bus schedule is very reduced on a Sunday which was annoying. Room was very small and very small area to hang clothes which was almost above where the kettle was, high up and hard to reach. No central light and the lighting was quite poor. A curtain was drawn across the width of the room in front of the window and bench which was annoying. Very limited menu in the restaurant and quite expensive.

The staff were very helpful, courteous & friendly. I would choose to stay again if I visited Montreux again.

The room was great. It felt clean & very comfortable. Plenty of towels, tea & coffee making facilities were good. It had a good ambience in the foyer & restaurant. Very well presented with Jazz art as well. The bus stop was directly out the front of the hotel. 👍🏼

It was ok as a hotel but quiet and small and no restaurant. A bit far from the lake

The bedroom was clean and the bathroom well equipped with toiletries and hairdryer. The bed was comfortable- not too firm or soft which was good because we both have joint problems. There is an expression machine and kettle in the room. Alex who was on reception desk was very pleasant and helpful. We had free bus travel locally. The breakfast was quite good with enough choice. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. Taxis were arranged on request. There is a lift.

It is not near to the waterfront so required a bus or taxi journey. Perhaps if you are very fit you might enjoy going up and down the hill. It isn’t something we could manage to do. The decor is red and black in the bedroom so quite dark. There isn’t a restaurant there as such although there is a menu eg pizza and chicken, that kind of thing. There are no hotel staff overnight. From 11 pm you let yourself in by the back door. Also no early breakfast boxes if you have early flight. The dark haired male on reception desk looked unhappy. The room wasn’t tidied on day 2 even though we went out for a couple of hours. So the coffee and water wasn’t replenished.

Great location..ok for one night.

Location was great..up the hill from the town but very nice area..and if arriving by train..bus 206 from station arrives outside.

Some if the staff could have been a bit more welcoming. Unable to get a drink at the bar after 10.30 because they had already "cashed up" The only way to turn iff the room lights seemed to be to turn all the power off tovthe room? Bathroom clean but dated..tiny shower. Didnt have breakfast as would have been an extra chf25 each..which felt pricey.

I’d probably look for somewhere else next time I go to Montreux. OK, nothing more, but not patticularly expensive either

Friendly staff

Very small room, even smaller bathroom, shower alternated between steam and cold water. No blinds on window, some sort of curtain could be pulled across, but that covered the desk as well, so nowhere for the fan (no A/C) to go. Hotels about 1km from the lake front, up a very steep road. Huge poster of Nile Rodgers on the wall overlooking the bed - strange!

Clean and dog friendly, otherwise small, cramped and stuffy room.

The hotel is dog friendly. The breakfast is plentiful. The personal is nice and friendly. The bed is comfortable.

The room and the bathroom are very cramped even for 2 people and very stuffy and hot. It was loud at night. People smoking below our room windows.

Stylish reception and rooms, great location for discovering Montreux. The room and bathroom was very clean and equipped with all you need (tea, coffee, electric kettle, coffee machine, all the complimentary amenities in the bathroom). Receptionists speak all languages and are very kind.

I only missed the bedside tables in the rooms, otherwise all good

Fantastic place & great value for money

The staff (Alex) were super friendly and helpful. The bed was large and comfortable! A coffee machine was also in our room.

The bathroom was adequate but the toilet in our room was squeezed in, not much wriggle room.

Very good location. Uphill, quiet and city center in walking distance.

The room was very small. Almost no space to put clothes or bags. The cleaning detergent smelled very strong, so we asked not to clean the room. After that, the room was smelling badly, which explains the strong cleaning detergent. The breakfast was no good value, and the receptionist was not helpful when we canceled the breakfast.

I definitely recommend Hotel Tralala.

Hotel Tralala met our expectations just as advertised. It looks exactly like the photos and offers great value for money. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city, which made it easy for us to get around and enjoy the surroundings. I would especially like to highlight João, a member of the hotel staff, for his outstanding service. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch his last name, but he was the one in charge of the front desk on the day of our check-in. He welcomed us warmly, was always polite and helpful, and truly made our stay more enjoyable and comfortable. His attention to detail and kindness stood out. I definitely recommend Hotel Tralala, and I’d like to give a special thanks to João for making our experience even better!

Would be happy to stay there again

The service was good and helpful, particularly from the friendly Elva at the bar. The position in the Old Town was charming and the room was fine. Spotify music was good, though the bar was quieter than expected.

Lugging a suitcase uphill, rather than taking the bus from the train station, was tiring. My fault, not theirs, but some advance mention that the walk (15 minutes) is uphill would have helped guide me. The food was good, and good value for Montreux (which is expensive even by Swiss standards) but could have had more vegetables included with the dishes.

After fracturing my ankle, Hotel Tralala was the ideal place to stay in Montreux to access public transport to get back home by train. The hotel was in a quiet location with the bonus of having a Montreux Jazz vibe and a fountain next to it

The location was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good selection at breakfast. I didnt want to walk so the 206 bus directly Infront of the hotel was very handy.

It was a bit noisy. My room is next to the street and I could hear the sounds of the traffic.

A characterful, value for money hotel in a quiet location.

Excellent breakfast- a wide variety of food served in the very interesting music-themed restaurant/ bar area. A quiet location in the charming older part of town, yet very conveniently placed for access to the centre and lakeside.

A fan was thoughtfully provided, though I wonder whether air conditioning would be an improvement.

Loved everything about it.

very clean, right across from a bus stop, staff was so friendly and helpful. decor is adorable. Helpful hint: from the train station, take the escalator down to Ave des Alpes, take a left, go less than half a block to the bus stop. Take bus #206, to Les Planches (be sure to signal a stop), right across from the hotel. Saves a long uphill walk. Bus 206 gets you most places you need to go.
