Everything was perfect.

10 minute walk from the railway station. Good location for what we wanted to do. Good breakfast across the road at the Royal Plaza hotel, 15 CHF per person. Great size room, by far the best size of the 3 hotels that we stayed in on this trip.

The shower door was difficult to open. Some dust noted on a skirting board.

The room was spacious and clean.

Very friendly staff, a warm welcome on arrival, we also received a room upgrade which was appreciated. Breakfast was very good, location excellent.

We were upgraded free of charge to the Plaza hotel over the road, which had excellent facilities as Villa Toscane was fully booked.

Our room was small but beautiful and clean, even had a view of the lake 😍. Breakfast across the road at the main hotel but staff fantastic and helpful. ABSOLUTELY GREAT. Will be staying again.

It is a very old and beautiful building. Staff at the reception esp the blond guy with the beard and at the continental breakfast buffet was super polite.

The building needs renovation. The old dirty carpet has to be e removed

Nice room, the bed had quite a firm mattress. Room was cleaned daily, nice art nouveau style though a bit dated. Good location close to the boulevard and walking distance from the center.

The spa in the "5 star hotel" on the other side was really old and outdated. We had booked the hotel because of the wellness, but did not spend more than 1.5 hours there. The floors of the sauna were crinkling and the sauna was really small, the roof on the pool had leak spots and smelled intensely like chlorine, and the steam cabin was really loud and plastic with no nice smell. It felt like it should have been renovated years ago. The receptionist had told us robes would be downstairs while checking in (he knew we were staying at villa Toscana and not the Royal Plaza). When we came downstairs, we could not find any and called the spa staff help number. A woman very rudely and arrogantly told us that "The royal plaza was a 5-star hotel and their guests had robes on their room, we came from a 3-star hotel and should use a towel". Despite the fact that we've stayed at multiple 5 star hotels (and let me tell you, they had a lot higher quality than this spa, even other 3-star hotels I've stayed at this year had better spas), no one should talk like that to their customers. We booked the Toscana hotel with the wellness included, and she made it sound like we were done a favor to have access to it as if we were second range customers. Words might get lost in translation, but the condescending tone will not.

Good location

I stay two nights in this hotel. I was requesting an extra bed for my son. The receptionist said they were going to arrange it, but non of staff showed up to set up the extra bed.

Was managed through the 5 star resort over the road who were very good and very friendly.. easy access to rooms that were very clean and comfortable.

Prices of the nearby restaurants were crazy and the local staff did not seem to like tourists very much - I had never been to Switzerland before so was a bit surprised

Heritage style property, spacious rooms, very neat and clean, well-equipped, very close to the bus stop and station, beautiful locality, hospitable staff. Great stay, totally recommended

Big room with balcony. Good breakfast buffet. Bar service on most nights. Beautiful indoor and outdoor pools and spa. I had a problem with a dead battery of my car. I was quickly helped by the hotel staff which was great!

Very small bathroom. No airco which was difficult wih the heat outside. Elsewehere in the hotel it was also pretty warm.

The hotel was very lovely, with lots of character and furnished nicely. The room came with free access to totally amazing spa in the hotel across the road. It really was great. The location was superb - close to the train station and it had a fantastic promenade right outside which went to miles alongside Lake Geneva.

Our room had no aircon and it was quite small so it was quite hot. My friend requested for us to move and the next day they kindly moved us to a beautiful room the other hotel where they did have aircon. We loved that room too! The staff could not have been more helpful and kind. All in all we loved the place!

We were booked into Villa Toscane which I understand is managed by the Royal Plaza Hotel (situated across the road) so this is who we checked in with. Upon entering our room in Villa Toscane we discovered that it wasn’t air conditioned and you couldn’t leave the window open due to security, road noise (it’s on a main road) and insects flying in (they even have a note asking you to not leave the windows open). So my husband called Reception at the Royal Plaza to see if there was the possibility of changing rooms. They were amazing and not only allocated us to another room but also upgraded us into a suite at the Royal Plaza! It was absolutely beautiful! We were so very grateful and appreciative.

Partnered with an upscale hotel, Royal Palm, across the street.. Bonus was that you could use fitness amenities at sister hotel which included an indoor pool and sauna. Also sister hotel located right on lake Geneva.

No reception on site but registration at Royal Palm.

Loved the hotel, lication and breakfast which was fantastic. The balconies were lively. We had evening meals on the balcony that were wonderful

The bed was too hard but aside we from that we have no complaints

It was an outstanding gate way for me and my wife the hotel was authentic and vintage style meets the city atmosphere and the scenery was outstanding from the room

2-minute bus ride or 10-minute walk from the train station. The reception and other supporting facilities are located at the opposite hotel. The accommodation provided the Montreux Riviera Card upon check-in, which offers free access to local public transport.

Hair dryer not working properly.

Good facilities and the staff were very helpful with parking options. The bar offered great food options with friendly staff.

Blockout curtains would help with street lights and noise.

The photos do not reflect reality and it's important that booking verifies this in person even. The building its old, the rooms have an intense smell, the elevator doesn't seem safe, the property doesn't have a receptionist, it feels unsafe and the energy of the whole place is not pleasant at all

Staff !!!! From reception to the servers at breakfast. Everyone was absolutely amazing!

Location was the best! Drinks on the patio in the evening watching the sun set over Lake Geneva was so delightful 🙂
