Built in 1870 by Eugène Jost, this recently renovated Belle-Époque hotel is located in the heart of Montreux on the shore of Lake Geneva and right across from Montreux Train Station.

Practical, beautiful, nice staff, good food and drinks, decent price for Switzerland.
Location near the train station and the view it has. It’s also a beautiful hotel inside and out.
The rooms could be nicer, their small size can’t be helped but perhaps a refurbishment with some new design touches of good quality would help.

Excellent location with friendly staff
Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the train station, and very near the Christmas market if you are visiting during year end. Friendly staff and great smell when walking in.
The coffee machine in the room is not working, but didn't bother me much.

Very good facilities. Pleasant clean rooms. Lovely food, huge breakfasts and cheery staff. Right opposite the station. Mountain and lake views. Felt you had arrived.

The cleanliness, the friendliness, the location… that VIEW
We had a delightful stay at the hotel. The property was well located across the road from the train station and along the river. Everything was within short walking distance or via access to local bus service nearby. Check in was effortless and nothing was too much trouble for any colleague we encountered, particularly the front doorman who exuded joy. The rooms were clean and immaculately presented. The view was simply breathtaking. The breakfast range was more than enough to get you started for the day and the menu and restaurant service were both excellent. A very polished 5star venue and would not hesitate to stay again.

The property is located in the best possible sightseeing and tourist attraction area. Very close to all amenities, close to the transport system, the railway station is within 1 minute walk and easily accessible. The property is well maintained, beautifully preserved and with a great view to the Alps and Lake Geneva
