Rooftop Prosecco

Two words: rooftop prosecco. Gorgeous historic building. Awakened each morning to the smell of something delicious baking. Breakfast was lovely, starting the day the Italian way with a cappuccino and a giant chocolate croissant or a slice of torta della nonna before setting out to explore. The staff were friendly. The location is incredible, across from a casual bar that serves cicchetti and a square with al fresco dining options. The Interpreti Veneziani string concert series are held at a church nearby.

Nothing, it was lovely! Only a caution to open the room windows sparingly at night, as we accidentally let in a few Venetian mosquitoes which had to be dealt with.

Great Location

Great location - right in the middle of everything & a short walk to everywhere. Staff also friendly & polite. Breakfast also good. Rooftop Terrace with a commentary bottle of Prosecco also a great plus!

Can’t be helped given the age of the property but having an elevator would be helpful - or someone to help with the bags. We were on the top floor and it was a struggle.

Pleasant stay but could have been better

Location of the hotel was fabulous, you can do everything by foot

A little bit expensive for November time considering the facilities offered are very basic. The room was big but you couldn’t use anything apart from the bed, the rest being very vintage. The room was clean. Breakfast is okay but nothing special offered. Also our rooms door opened directly on the breakfast area which could impact your sleep if you’re a light sleeper.

What a beautiful place! We were at a very central area, included a great view of the plaza and surroundings! The breakfast was lovely!

Fantastic - highly recommend the B&B Bloom Settimo Cielo!

Had a top floor room with immediate access to a roof deck from which the sun set over Venice was beautiful. Free and unlimited Prosecco was provided in the early evening, which put a nice shine on the day before dinner. Breakfast was perfectly charming, tasty and more than filling. Great coffee too. B&B was next to a pretty square with restaurants including Ristorante Moro, which is quite upscale and absolutely excellent. Also, I attended a wonderful classical music concert in the Chiesa Vidal, which was superb. Finally, B&B was close to the vaporetto water taxi service and walking distance to many of the main locations in Venice. All told, I made the right choice with B&B Bloom Settimo Cielo - highly recommended.

Good location, our room was a good size. The bed was comfy.

Extremely hard to find when you first arrive. No reception, had to wait for staff member to come from another hotel. There were too many stairs to all of the rooms and with heavy suitcases, this was extremely tiring and difficult. The staff would not help me before 8am. The breakfast was not worth the cost, a very small amount of continental food, toaster was always turned off at 8am & took way too long to heat up, so most days we went without food. No access to a kettle. Both rooms we were in, the bathrooms smelt like sewage.

Outstanding location, beautiful property

The Bloom B&B was great, beautiful rooms and roof patio looking over the square. We sat in the library because it was too sunny on the open patio. Bright and pleasant surroundings. The room was very comfortable, we were next to the library on the fourth (top) floor. Breakfast was excellent and the service was equally great. Would definitely stay again on our next visit to this incredible city.

The only challenge was carrying our luggage up the narrow staircase but that’s to be expected for the location.

A great romantic stay in a perfect location close enough to everything you want, except the crowds.

The room was small, but very clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. There is a staff member whose name I did not get, but she was very nice and accommodating, in making up the room and breakfast. Also, Francesca at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful in arranging a taxi the airport and a couple of amazing places to try. Also loved the roof terrace and the location is perfect.

I was unaware how many flights of stairs to get up the room, but I am older and did not realize there was not elevator. That's the only thing I would have liked to have after spending much of the day out and walking around. But it would not prevent me from coming back, and I would still recommend it.

Perfect location, luxurious room, gorgeous terrace to finish off the night on!

There was an absolutely breathtaking view out the window since the room is right next to an old church! The room itself was gorgeous and very beautifully decorated, with a few little extra thoughtful amenities that were a nice touch. There is also a beautiful terrace at the top of the hotel, which is perfect to spend an evening on. There is also a lovely sitting room, comfy chairs, and such a relaxing and luxurious vibe in the whole place! We would love to come back and spend more time here!

Only downside is the hot water didn’t last very long and just a note - don’t bring much luggage! The room is up a lot of steps. But it’s absolutely worth it staying here!

Amazing little gem in a superb location

Beautiful little boutique type property in a superb area. Close to everything but not in the very busy and noisy areas. The hotel and rooms were immaculate and had everything you need. Mini fridge and free safe were in the room which makes a change. The Breakfast was also superb. The staff were lovely. Met Anthony on the last day who was really nice. It was our 25th Anniversary and they put a bottle of Prosecco and a fresh cake in the minibar for us. A really nice gesture. One of the best parts is the little roof terrace that overlooks a square. There is even a small fridge where you can help yourself to a bottle of Prosecco to take out onto the terrace. We couldn’t fault Anything at all with this hotel .

It’s a clean and very well furnished room. You have Access to a beautiful rooftop where you can Drink Prosecco after arriving. The staff was nice and the location offers easy access to anything in Venice.

The breakfast was very sugar heavy with not many healthy options. The room was maybe a bit small.

A stay worth the climb, in a good central location.

The location of the property felt like it was within a bustling location, but never felt over crowded and at night was pretty quiet. It’s located conveniently next to a pharmacy and the best gelato spot we found in Venice! The room was quaint, but it was very comfortable. The bathroom had all the amenities one would need, and I loved the smell of their products—earthy and clean scented. I also didn’t realize they offered daily housekeeping—which after a day of walking, was so lovely to come back to a clean room with fresh towels. We loved having the terrace available to us, and while seating is limited, we were fortunate to secure seats every night of our stay to watch the sunset. Breakfast was an assortment of pastries, pancakes, toast, and hard boiled eggs along with a selection of meats and cheeses. The staff offered to make guests coffees if they didn’t want water or orange juice. The staff was very friendly and we felt like they really cared about our stay. I would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay at this property again.

The stairs weren’t a surprise, we knew it was a walk up when we booked, the property makes that very clear. And I warned my husband about this when he wanted to bring our large suitcase. And PHEW—those stairs were tough, and tight!! Even without luggage we were out of breath every night we came home. Haha! It became a thing we joked about, but they are not for everyone. At night it was quiet, but in the mornings we could hear guests in the hall during breakfast. Breakfast was served between 8-10AM, which is very reasonable! It was just Venice was our first stop so we were jet lagged, and were woken up by guests talking in the hall. This may because our room was next to the lobby too. These things still wouldn’t deter me from staying here again. I would just take these into account and plan accordingly—bring smaller luggage and pack ear plugs!

Good place to stay in Venice for a few days

A cute little B&B, with a decent little breakfast. It is very nice, when you check in they give you a bottle of prosecco to enjoy on the roof terrace which was fun.

There are a lot of stair to the rooms and no elevator. It was also a little confusing to try and find the actual location of the door to go in the first time. While there is AC, it does not make the room very cold on hot days.

Staff were lovely, the location great and the roof terrace also. The free Prosecco was a nice touch. After complaining about the small room they gave us a discount which made up for it a bit.

We were give a very small room and there were more than 80 stairs to climb to get to it. The windows were tiny as well.

Breakfast was very good and location of hotel perfect for Venice. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were small but very clean and quaint. Had a veranda that you could overlook Venice and sip and enjoy complimentary prosecco!

Delightful with great location

B&B Bloom was centrally located to various Venice sites and the piazza was fun to walk around and also enjoy restaurants. The hosts were responsive and even assisted us to carry our bags down the stairs since there is no elevator. The Breakfast Room was delightful and we especially enjoyed the rooftop patio and complimentary prosecco.

The property was in a great location, great rooftop views! The staff are friendly and relatively easy to get to.

The only issue we had was it was a bit cold on the night we stayed and after turning the air-conditioner on the room smelt like wet dog. It was a simple case of opening the windows but learnt not to use the air-conditioner for the duration of our time there . This does not detract from the quality of the hotel itself as it was very well presented and breakfast was very good .

Romantic, private, stylish and unique - we loved our stay at Settimo Cielo!

We LOVED our stay at Settimo Cielo! The location is central and easy walking to all sights. It is tucked away in a nondescript building which we liked. The rooftop views are beautiful and our room (the red room) was romantic and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and abundant with the BEST coffee! We booked our last night in Venice in a much more expensive hotel on the Grand Canal but really preferred Settimo Cielo!
