This hotel is the best place to be,to make your trip to Venice memorable. Excellent location, just walking distance to St. Mark's Square, etc. Breakfast was great with variety of choices and most of all the staff are warm, professional and friendly. They even prepared some pastry with a candle for my birthday. Highly recommended and I will book again this hotel when I come back to Venice.

Great location, friendly staff and good breakfast. The hotel is charming, if a little dated. Rooms smallish but comfortable and well equipped. All in all we had a great stay.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, perfect location, lots of character to the room and bar! Our room faced a canal and we could watch gondolas going by.
Bathroom could use updating, especially the shower.

Great location and a small but nice breakfast. The hotel also has historical vibes (I like it, my wife doesn't). It's nice small hotel but...
There is one big minus and several small ones that are not very important.
The main minus is the temperature in the room. We got a room with a non-working heating/air conditioner and an extra oil electric heater probably 20 years old... but it saved us from starring in Frozen 3: Way to Venice. The walls were ice-cold, and the bathroom temperature was around 15 at best. Maybe that's acceptable for a rented apartment in Italy, but not for a hotel in Venice. The outside temperature was around 0 to −2 at night.
Small minuses:
- One of the reception staff members was not friendly... A little mix with tiredness , age and passive aggressiveness in a polite way but still... (the other one was nice).
- The way to the breakfast area goes through an open space, so if it's raining, you need an umbrella or may get wet.
- Some mold, but I think it’s common in Venice.
